00:00V.I.P. services will not be able to bypass the regulations in Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

00:09This was clarified by the Manila International Airport Authority in the program Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon.

00:17IKM-IAA spokesperson, Attorney Chris Bendijo,

00:21even if a V.I.P. services individual fails,

00:25he still needs to go through the normal process in the country.

00:29As part of the Customs and Immigration Quarantine and Security Protocol,

00:34Attorney Bendijo clarified that the V.I.P. services were made as courtesy

00:40to the visitors of the country or dignitaries until it became a payable service for the public.

00:46Under the new NIA Infrastructure Corporation,

00:49the V.I.P. services were increased from Php 8,000 to Php 800.

00:56The MIAA also stressed that they are committed to their new mandate as the regulator of the country.

01:07Every time we apply for a V.I.P. service, I think it undergoes a screening process also.

01:13They also evaluate and request if there are other considerations.
