Dr. Dre keeps threatening his renowned psychiatrist, to the point where the guy feels he needs to wear a bulletproof vest ... at least according to a new lawsuit the doctor filed.

00:05Yes, so a psych people on this show on this show many times. Yes a psychiatrist by the name of Charles Sophie

00:12Is suing dr. Dre dr. Dre and his then wife were going through couples counseling

00:20with Charles Sophie and

00:23That divorce is over and done with but from a couple of years ago, right?

00:28Ended at the end of 2021 they finalized it. So

00:32Why a lawsuit now? Well

00:35Charles Sophie is saying he's ended up having to wear a bulletproof vest when he leaves his house because of threats

00:41He says he's received from dr. Dre and what he finds puzzling and seems puzzling to us at least reading the lawsuit

00:48That it came the threats came like 14 months after the divorce had been finalized

00:53so again, if Charles Sophie is working with Nicole and dr. Dre as they're going through their divorce and

01:02Sophie says that he was also

01:05Counseling the whole family like their kids as well

01:08but it 14 months later dr. Dre is

01:12incensed about something and fires off several text messages

01:17If I may before we get to the text messages

01:19There was beef there that dr. Dre got angry and said that you were trying to Charles

01:25So if you were trying to force me to settle on Nicole's terms, yes

01:30And you had no business getting involved in our financial discussions of the divorce and then we're here to counsel

01:36Right family and then he then he said that Dre said that

01:41Sophie was trying to turn one of the one of their kids

01:44Against him right by siding with Nicole siding with Nicole that's not as well. So that's

01:50according to Charles Sophie why

01:52Dre was so upset and said things like this in a text message and these messages were included in the lawsuit

02:05That's just the beginning. Yeah what and then this is Dre now saying to Charles Sophie

02:40I haven't forgotten about you and according to what Charles Sophie filed in this lawsuit those text messages were over

02:50He also says that he's alleging that Dre sent these fake FBI agents

02:57They weren't really FBI agents to his house to intimidate him. Yeah, what what is terrifying about the allegations in?

03:03Dr. Sophie's lawsuit are the time period over which this apparently took place according to Sophie

03:09It took place over many many months where there would be long

03:11Lapses between texts from dr

03:13Dre when then he would pop up again and say I haven't forgotten and that terrified him to such an extent that he says he

03:18Wears a bulletproof vest and he wears a bulletproof cap around his house had no incident Eric. We should say nervous

03:23We should say that what Charles just read even with the attitude that he read it with

03:30They're not direct threats, I mean he is not saying I'm gonna beat you I'm gonna do whatever to you

03:35He's not saying any of that. You know, you're exactly right and in one of the text

03:39He alludes to moving forward and on his part Howard King. Dr

03:42Dre's attorney gave us a statement and said that dr

03:44Sophie filed this because dr. Dre moved forward with a confidential complaint against dr

03:50Sophie trying to get his license essentially for intruding in this way and it's called an incredible competence and dereliction of duty

03:57Yeah, he's basically saying he's an unethical psychiatrist and filed a complaint against him

04:01So maybe that's what he was referring to in terms of going forward and dr

04:04Sophie is saying he interpreted those things as threats

04:06Dre also said that he felt he felt that Sophie was leaking information to the media, right?

04:12so he has filed this official a complaint and filed it back in 2023 filed a complaint with the Medical Board and

04:20His attorney Dre's attorney says in no uncertain terms. He wants

04:25Dr. Charles Sophie to lose his license for the things he did

04:29Related to Dre's family allegedly did you know the interesting thing about this because we were all over this story if you remember

04:37Dre settled Dre had eight hundred and twenty million dollars according to all of the legal doc in the divorce

04:43He settled for a hundred million dollars. He had a they had a prenup. She was challenging the prenup

04:49She ended up getting a hundred million, which is about what she would have gotten I think under the prenup

04:54We were told he would have paid her more had she not

04:57Bought right, but they ended up they ended up settling for the hundred million

05:02Financially, I walked away feeling like it was a win for him. He did worse. He did but according to

05:09What Charles Sophie's put in this lawsuit Dre is not happy about what happened as far as the counseling. So

05:15He's suing by the way, we did we say they suing for ten million dollars million bucks doctor on doctor. Yeah

05:43With the baseball cap and the bulletproof vest, so I'm a little torn
