00:00A woman near Polsbo who's been feeding raccoons living around her home for almost four decades
00:05found herself surrounded by nearly 100 of the animals on October 3rd and that's when
00:11she called for help.
00:12Kitsap County Sheriff's deputies came to her rescue after she was forced to run away in
00:17her car to escape the furry and very hungry creatures.
00:21So 35 years ago you first started feeding raccoons and then what all of a sudden did

00:28Six weeks ago.
00:29The woman says the raccoons often surround her day and night demanding food and she says
00:34she's been quoted prices as high as $500 per raccoon to trap and relocate them.
00:42Deputies referred her to the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife to help find
00:46a solution to her pesky problem.
