Woman calls 911 after 100 raccoons swarm her yard

A woman was forced to call 911 after nearly 100 raccoons swarmed her home.

Footage shared by the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office shows the hungry critters in the woman's yard in near Poulsbo, Washington, USA.

Kevin McCarty, a spokesperson for the Kitsap County Sheriff, said the woman alerted authorities reporting that the raccoons had gathered outside her home, “demanding food.”

The woman, who has been feeding raccoons for nearly three decades, told deputies the invasion started six weeks ago, with the animals surrounding her property.

She said the sheer number of raccoons and their increasingly aggressive behavior left her unable to leave her property.
