00:12quiet transfer window in the summer. For Arne Schot's first season, he was confident in

00:19the group but you are going to have to react when injuries start to kick in. Alisson is

00:25such a huge, key player in this side. What are the thoughts following his possible injury

00:31and his situation? I know it can change so quickly, as they found out a few years ago

00:38as well, where you have all these big players and big names and then they start to drop

00:42like flies and the complete squad looks completely different. Results can start to drop and competing

00:51across all competitions becomes quite a struggle. It's a blow for Liverpool but I think the

00:58unfortunate thing is it's not a massive surprise when Alisson gets an injury. It should be

01:04for a goalkeeper but during his time at Liverpool, he has had injury issues. He had one last

01:10season and I think he had two spells on the sidelines. He missed a game early in the campaign

01:17and he went down with a hamstring issue and the spotter is limping, leaving South Wales

01:25Park. I think that's what Liverpool fans are, I don't want to say disappointed, but they

01:32have always become accustomed to Alisson being a little bit injury prone, which is a surprise

01:37for a goalkeeper. But Liverpool, in the summer, he could have potentially sold Kovic and Kelleher,

01:43he made it no secret that he wants to go out and play regular football, but Liverpool

01:47have said they need two strong goalkeepers. That's probably a reason why they kept Kelleher

01:53around, to be frank, because maybe they knew that Alisson, for as good as he is, and as

01:59Arnold Slot called him the best goalkeeper in the world after the game, but they do know

02:03that he can't break down, his body can break down and they need a top-class keeper in the

02:08background. Kelleher looks like he's going to get a chance, he did really well in the

02:14two games earlier this season, he did really well last season when he had a sustained spell

02:20in the campaign. Again, Liverpool went and bought Giorgi Marmocevilli from Valencia as

02:27Arnold Slot's first sign and clearly Liverpool are planning for the future there and maybe

02:32looking at Alisson's deal. I think he's got maybe two years left on his deal, maybe looking

02:38at Alisson and thinking he's going to be 33 at that point. Maybe we shake hands and

02:42say he's been a fantastic servant, but we need to move on and Marmocevilli will be the

02:48future. It is a big blow for Liverpool, I'm sure Alisson will be assessed, but I would

02:54think he's going to be out for a number of weeks.
