00:05supported the Self-Reliant Defense Posture Act.

00:08The law allows the local production in the Philippines

00:11to be used for the protection of the country.

00:14The AFP said that aside from the defense posture,

00:17it will also help the economy of the country.

00:20The AFP also believes in the ability of our fellow countrymen

00:24where the non-government organizations

00:27and the private sector and the members of the academies

00:30to work together.

00:34It will complement the comprehensive archipelagic defense concept.

00:37So, it's all-encompassing in terms of what it will help.

00:40Over and above that, it will also help our industries,

00:44local industries, to be part of national security as well.

00:48And the strength of this law

00:51is that it will help the economy of our country.

00:53It will create more jobs.
