00:00There's 22 of us from around Newcastle and Sydney through from Gold Coast

00:05about to embark on a 600km mountain bike ride through Vietnam and Cambodia

00:11and yeah we're just really excited.

00:14Yeah the challenge is the obvious one with the heat and the humidity

00:18and the duration and the length of the rides but there's so much to take in

00:22there's a lot of history and connection with our country in Vietnam and that area

00:26so there's a lot to learn.

00:28We all start the treks in one sort of headspace and we finish in another

00:33and it's all for the better.

00:34When we finish we're a very tight group and we go through stuff together

00:38that not many people get to do.

00:40The awareness for brain cancer, the fundraising which you can always tell

00:44the quality of the group by the money they've raised

00:46and the amount of money we've raised up to this far is amazing

00:50and we've got a little bit more to go in the two weeks
