Pemimpin China dan Korea Utara berjanji untuk meningkatkan kerja sama bilateral pada ulang tahun ke-75 terjalinnya hubungan hubungan diplomatik antara kedua negara. China sejauh ini merupakan mitra dagang terbesar Korea Utara dan keduannya memiliki sejarah yang sama sejak dukungan Beijing terhadap Pyongyang selama perang Korea tahun 1950-1953.
