00:07because I'm a little crazy and I review food and stuff.

00:10Today it's the Jack Link's Teriyaki Beef Jerky.

00:13I had to look at it because I couldn't remember even what I was reviewing.

00:16Nuts, eh?

00:17And it says, feed your wild side on the back, and I've tried some of these meat snacks before,

00:22and I like teriyaki, and I like beef jerky, and I know that the bags feel a little different

00:28now.

00:29Because I know that a new company took Jack Link's over, I just can't remember the company.

00:34I can't remember the company.

00:35It's a big company that actually bought out Jack Link's, and so that's kind of like why

00:39sometimes I'm retrying some of them.

00:41I've already retried.

00:42But you can feel that it's a different type of packaging too.

00:47I've noticed that recently.

00:49Product of the USA, yeah I guess, I honestly don't know.

00:53I don't know anymore.

00:54I thought it was a Canadian company now.

00:56See how crazy I am?

00:57I can't remember the company that bought it.

00:59Alright, so smart snacks.

01:03Beef, brown sugar, water, soy sauce, powder, sea salt, dried beef stock, cultured soury

01:12abstract, spices, pineapple.

01:15Pineapple!

01:16I've read pineapple in a few of these beef jerky's recently.

01:18Is this new?

01:19I don't think they had pineapple in it before.

01:21It contains soy and wheat.

01:24Calories are 80%.

01:26Fat is 2, trans fat is 4, sugar is 6, sodium is 24, potassium is only 4%, calcium is 2,

01:35and iron is 6, and it looks like an 8 to me.

01:38Geez, I think I need glasses.

01:40I really do everyone.

01:41Satisfaction guaranteed.

01:43So if it's not good, I guess you could send it in and there's some information I guess

01:46at the back there.

01:48It didn't open up the way I liked.

01:52I like it to open up like nice and neatly.

01:54Let's see if I can actually get this open.

02:00It's being a pain in my butt.

02:05It's open now.

02:11I always like smelling it first and giving my opinion of the smell.

02:17It's actually kind of giving me a slight headache, the smell.

02:20I'm not actually sure why.

02:22Just a little bit of a headache.

02:24It's not super strong, but it's, hmm.

02:31Hmm.

02:33I smell it as teriyaki.

02:36It's definitely teriyaki, and that's how big the pieces are.

02:39Well, every piece is different.

02:44Wow.

02:48Now, this melts in your mouth.

02:57It's not hard to chew.

02:59It's not sticking in my teeth.

03:01The problem is, I'm not sure if I like the flavor or not.

03:23It was a little hard to swallow, but I got to try another piece.

03:26Wow, they're big pieces, actually.

03:29It leaves kind of like a weird taste on my tongue, like an aftertaste on my tongue, but

03:35it doesn't go down my throat.

03:38Oh.

03:40That one was hard.

03:48So, it's not consistent, that's for sure.

03:54This one's hard.

03:56The other one was nice and soft.

03:57This one's kind of hard and chewy.

03:59I don't even know if I want to continue it, but I will.

04:19That was hard to chew.

04:20The first one was nice and soft, so it's not consistent.

04:24The next one might be soft.

04:26This one was a little harder to swallow.

04:30The taste, have you ever had something that the taste is addicting, but you don't necessarily

04:34like it, but it's kind of hard to explain.

04:38I like it and I don't.

04:41It's a nice flavor, but it's staying on my tongue.

04:48I would give this a 6.5 out of 10.

04:51It's kind of hard to explain.

04:52I like it, yet I don't, and I'm not sure if I would buy it again.

04:56I'm just not sure.

04:59Maybe if I craved it.

05:00Have you ever craved something you haven't liked before, going, I didn't like that.

05:04Why am I craving that?

05:06Then you get it going, oh.

05:08So this is more of a craving thing.

05:10If I was craving a taste like this, I'd probably buy this again, but I don't think I would

05:14buy it again.

05:15I don't know.

05:16I can't explain it.

05:17But a 6.5 out of 10, I would give this teriyaki beef jerky.

05:21It's not great, and maybe I'll just, I'm kind of addicted now.

05:30I can't open it.

05:31I'm not going to bother.

05:32But yeah, a 6.5 out of 10 everyone.

05:35Maybe some of the other pieces are soft.

05:37The softer ones to me are better than the harder ones.

05:40That was actually hard to chew.

05:41I don't like it when it sticks in my teeth too.

05:45But anyway, okay everyone, that's the way it is.
