00:00Hello, everyone. Today I'm trying this D.A.R.E. Ice Cream expired chocolate mint flavor.

00:08Now, every time I think of chocolate mint though, ice cream, I think of chocolate mint

00:12chip ice cream. So I'm like, okay. And when I saw this, that's what I originally thought

00:18it was. Even so, I read mint chocolate, mint chocolate chip. That always comes to my mind

00:25when I think of mint chocolate. So I'm like, this looked interesting to me, an ice cream

00:30cookie. Now, if the ice cream cookie can get that nice little cool flavor when you bite

00:37into it, that would be kind of cool. I don't know if you remember this, but in the 80s,

00:41they had these gums. Maybe they still do, but I don't think they do. I heard that they discontinued

00:46them a long time ago. When you bit into the gum, it had gooey stuff inside to make it nice

00:52and gooey and last longer to chew. So inside actually had some sort of flavor inside, enhanced

01:00flavor, kind of like a liquid that made it last longer. I actually don't know, but I

01:07can't even remember what that bubble gum was taste. But that's what I'm hoping that this

01:12would be. It would be an ice cream cookie that you bite into, and it tastes like chocolate

01:19mint, maybe even chip, because it shows it. It shows it right there. Mints, but it only

01:26says mint chocolate. But it has that nice cool flavor. Like right here, it says made with

01:32real cocoa. So obviously the cookie around it is made with real cocoa. Cocoa is dark chocolate.

01:41No artificial flavoring. Enjoy your favorite ice cream flavor in a creamy cookie. So I'm like,

01:48okay, let's bite into this creamy cookie and let it kind of have a nice cool taste to it.

01:55That's what I'm hoping. And then of course they have a scanning thing there. And let's just see

02:01here. Calories are 200. Fat is 12. Trans fat is 23. Sugar is 13. Potassium is 2. Iron is 7.

02:14wheat flour. So obviously it's not gluten-free. It doesn't say it is. But yeah, wheat flour is the

02:21very first one. Sugar, vegetable oil, shortening, seasoning oil, coconut oil, starch, salt, and just

02:29some words I can flat out never pronounce. Let's open this up.

02:47There it is. You know, I always believe they're dipping you off. Because look, look at the space.

02:54They can easily put one or two cookies here and here and here if they want it to. Make it really

02:59tight. And that's the way they used to do things. Really tight. So yeah, it was hard to pull out.

03:05One, two, three, four, five. So there's 15 cookies in total. Let's have a look.

03:11Oh, actually, you know what? It actually smells like chocolate mint. It actually has a really nice

03:28smell to the cookie. Oh, that actually reminds me with if it was the just the cream, you would be

03:41smelling the chocolate mint. So the cocoa around it, the cookie around it, makes it smell slightly

03:48different. But if you just, if I can break, oh, I can break it. There's that. Yeah, if you just

03:56smell that alone, that really smells like chocolate mint. And it has kind of like a really strong mint.

04:03No, now that I'm smelling it more, it has a really strong mint. Oh, that's strong. That's actually

04:10maybe too strong. I don't think the ice cream was that strong.

04:14It doesn't remind me of an ice cream chocolate mint. It doesn't. It reminds me of those mints

04:39they had. When you used to go to restaurants, when you were cashing out, they had a cup with all

04:48these little mints in there. That's what this tastes like to me. This literally tastes like that

04:55to me. It doesn't taste like the chocolate mint ice cream. It tastes like those mints when I was

05:00young and went to a restaurant. And I went up to pay the bill. Well, my parents went up to pay the bill.

05:08They had a cup. And in it had all these chocolate, had all these mint, mint flavor mints. I guess

05:29they were mint flavor mints. That's what this reminded me of. As I was smelling it, I said,

05:38I'm smelling the cookie as well. So the cookie kind of interrupted the ice cream smell. Then

05:47when I ate it, it reminded me of those mints that were at the counter.

05:52these would be good. These would go really good with tea or coffee.

06:12The cookies seem to be persistent in taste and flavor. I like them. But I wouldn't really call

06:34them ice cream. Mint. I wouldn't call it mint chocolate at all. I would call it more of a

06:41mint. Because honestly, the inside really takes over the flavor. The chocolate, you don't

06:49really taste as much. The filling is way, way stronger.

07:04Yeah.

07:05I would simply call this ultimate mint chocolate. Even so, you don't really taste the chocolate.

07:30The chocolate is not overwhelming in this. It's the mint. It's really overwhelming, especially if

07:37you eat more than one. You're going to get the mint flavor. It's going to feel like that those

07:42mints are at the counter again at a restaurant. It's definitely going to feel like the 80s,

07:46if you remember that. You grab a mint after you ate to freshen your breath. That's what this

07:52reminds me of more than the mint chocolate ice cream. It's definitely not ice cream. It doesn't

07:58have that cool taste when you bite into it. Yeah. So I give this a 6 out of 10. I still

08:05like it. But the mint really does hit you pretty hard. And if you had a tea with it or something

08:12like that, or a coffee, it would probably be much better. But hitting this on its own,

08:18no. But I like the fact it's made with real cocoa. All right, everyone. Bye for now. I give this a 6 out
