00:00Hello everyone, this is Paul Branson Reviews and so much more.

00:07Today I am doing Superior Meats Exotic Duck.

00:12Duck Superior Meats.

00:13So they're sticks with, they're duck sticks mixed in with pork.

00:18As I've read in the back here it says, oh these are mixed in with chicken, duck, turkey

00:23and salt.

00:24I didn't know that.

00:25Now I figured if they were going to, if you're going to buy something it would be all duck.

00:29But I don't mind a mixture of chicken, duck and turkey.

00:32Turkey though makes you tired.

00:33I didn't know that.

00:34I probably wouldn't have tried them today because this is the morning now and I don't

00:38want to fall asleep.

00:40And turkey really makes me tired.

00:42Like after a big turkey dinner I fall asleep.

00:44But it's a mixture of chicken, duck, turkey, salt, sugar, garlic, so there's some spices

00:50in here, sodium, a culture and a natural smoke flavor.

00:56So the calories in here are 80%, 6% fat, trans fat is 6, 0, 0, sodium is 17, potassium

01:07is 3 and iron is 3.

01:09So I'm going to give these a try.

01:11Now I've tried Superior Meats many times and I've done crocodile, kangaroo, elk and all.

01:17I think this is the last exotic one that I need to do.

01:21So you can check out those other reviews because right after I do the reviews I kind of forget

01:26what I say.

01:27And normally they have pork and kangaroo in there, not a three mixture.

01:31So this is a little different.

01:33But today I finally brought my Swiss Army Knife and I had to go searching for the scissors

01:40so I can open this up easy because I'm always biting it off.

01:45But this time I can open it easy.

01:48And these ones have no added fillers.

01:50They say no added fillers and then all of a sudden it says, well that's an added filler.

01:54And turkey is an added filler.

01:55So I'm not sure how they can actually say that.

01:57I just realized that after all these times of reviewing these.

02:00But they're still good.

02:01I still like some of them more than others.

02:05You can check out the reviews as I said.

02:07So I'm going to check this out, natural smoked, no refrigerator required.

02:14And they're gluten free and MSG free that I actually like.

02:17Is that MSG?

02:18Yes, MSG free as you see up there.

02:21So now you get 7 sticks.

02:23And the more you buy, the more deals you get.

02:26So now I'm going to open it up with scissors for a change.

02:32I like this Swiss Army Knife but it's the wrong one I bought.

02:35I actually wanted a bigger one.

02:36But these quality things are actually really good.

02:40Alright.

02:41So now I'm going to give it a try.

03:16Now, normally I always take off the ends because I notice the ends actually bother my throat.

03:22As you can see there's a little bit of a rope there or whatever they call it.

03:26So normally I just do that.

03:29And this one, this part here doesn't really have that.

03:32So sometimes I keep it, I keep on thinking that looks like a snake.

03:35Ah!

03:40But it's not.

03:41Hopefully not.

03:42So now I always check this out.

03:45Smells good.

03:46Yeah, it smells like duck.

03:47Because I've had duck before in other forms but not in a stick.

03:51It's a little part, a bit of a twist.

03:54That's the inside of the sticks there mixed in with the turkey and chicken.

03:58So now I'll give it a try.

04:16There's a lot more, I definitely taste the turkey.

04:21I mean turkey.

04:22Actually I kind of do taste the turkey but very, very little.

04:26I taste more duck.

04:28So there's obviously a lot more duck in these sticks than the other two things that they

04:31shoved in here because I know what duck tastes like and I know what it smells like.

04:38But there can be various different ducks.

04:40I don't know exactly the duck they used to make these.

04:43Now, normally ducks are very greasy.

04:46These sticks aren't greasy.

04:47There's no grease on my hands at all.

04:57Soft to chew.

04:58It's not really super hard to chew.

05:00It's nice though.

05:03Superior Meats has a farm and they also have Superior Cheese that I've never tried.

05:09I'm older now and cheese has, well I do have cheese occasionally, but sometimes it does

05:15stuff to you.

05:16If you're old, you know what I'm talking about.

05:20Some pieces are a little harder to chew than others but it's softer.

05:23It's not like super hard to chew and it's easy to swallow.

05:28It's not bothering me.

05:29It's not giving me any aftertaste.

05:31I'm not saying that it's better.

05:33I'm just saying that it's good.

05:47I give this a 7 out of 10 but I'm so used to duck when it's really greasy so

06:08I like the fact it's not and it has a nice oh wait it's now starting to get a

06:13little bit of an aftertaste but it's not a bad aftertaste it's not like an

06:17aftertaste where you have to grab and drink a whole bunch of water to get that

06:20taste out of your mouth I used to do that oh god that tastes terrible I have

06:24to run to the sink oh it's so bad no no this is good it is good it's tasty a

06:31little bit some parts are a little bit more chewier than others but it easily

06:35it easily goes down the throat

06:397 out of 10 maybe a 7.5 I do like them not sure if I'll buy them again but I do

07:06like them I have my favorites so and the reason why I have some of my favorites

07:12is simply because of the health benefits they're kind of pricey so I go with the

07:17health benefits and actually I do like that particular one with health all

07:21exotic meats have benefits of health this one here is benefits of health too

07:27there's a lot of protein in duck a lot of protein and protein is good for you

07:31and healthy for you it gives you energy now the fats in duck though that they

07:36probably took out of this is supposed to I believe you you might gain weight

07:41if you eat a lot of duck it's a possibility but if you exercise a lot

07:45that doesn't really matter and yeah I'm going on and on but yeah 7.5 I give this

07:51a 7.5 out of 10 I enjoy this it's tender it's nice and it doesn't leave a bad

07:56taste in my mouth and it's not as greasy as duck normally can be all right
