00:00All right, so I'm hanging out with Stray Kids at the American Music Awards.
00:04And guys, right away, I gotta talk about your last album. You guys became the first group ever
00:09to have your first five albums debut on top of the Billboard 200. That's incredible.
00:14No, thank you, thank you.
00:14So history making, how did it feel?
00:17I mean, it's all thanks to, you know, STAYs, our fans out there. Without them,
00:20we could not have made it. So thanks to everyone watching. Thank you, guys.
00:25And then, of course, you guys are here at the AMAs doing a tribute to boy bands.
00:28And I gotta talk to you. I'm a big boy band fan myself. I got a lot of history there. So
00:32what are the groups that you guys feel like paved the way?
00:36What do you think?
00:37Well, I mean, I think there are so many boy groups that paved the way.
00:41But also, just like to perform, I think NSYNC also paved the way a lot.
00:47And yeah, they've showed a lot of culture. And yeah, it's cool.
00:51I mean, you gotta tell me then, how did it feel to be on stage, the Marionettes?
00:54Like, oh my god, it was so iconic.
00:56I mean, then again, just performing on the AMAs for the first time and doing a collaboration
01:02with NSYNC was very memorable. It was very special. And also for us, it's our first time.
01:07So yeah, we were vibing. And yeah, it was great. It was perfect.
01:10And then what do you guys feel like sets you apart as a boy band?
01:16I mean, first of all, music, we do make our own music. And it's also,
01:21you know, something that we've really, I won't say stubborn, but like we've really,
01:26from the start, wanted to show what our colors were, whatever we wanted to express,
01:32the messages, it's all to people out there who really need it. And also,
01:35just the eight of us really loving each other and the chemistry that we have for each other is,
01:39I feel like it's very, very unique and special.
01:41I mean, being self-produced is very unique. So why is that so important to you guys?
01:45So why is it important?
01:47Um, these make our color. And I don't know.
01:56Yeah, like, I mean, because, you know, like, if you think about it,
01:59we're the ones performing on stage. We're the ones who are singing the lyrics. Might as well
02:02make it more genuine by, you know, making what we want to express, making what we want to,
02:08you know, say, making what we want to perform, I think, just makes everything important.
02:12And talk about Chick Chick Boom. I mean, being a new song,
02:15how has the fan reaction been? How was it to perform it?
02:18Oh, how was it?
02:20I mean, like, honestly, just performing Chick Chick Boom in front of our fans was amazing.
02:25Like we haven't, we felt like so much energy from them and we felt so much excitement and
02:30they were just so lovely. Yeah.
02:32The best.
02:33Always so excited to see you guys. So what can you tease for them? Any future plans coming up?
02:37Ooh, future plans. I could spoil everything right here on the spot.
02:42But I'm gonna get, yeah, I'm gonna get told off. I don't want to do that. So,
02:48but we are, you know, continuously keep on making, you know, new music for all of you.
02:53We are preparing, we are on our world tour right now. And also there's a lot of things that are
02:59still yet to come. So keep an eye out for that. Thank you.
03:02And what would you say was your favorite AMA moment or an AMA memory that you had?
03:07Favorite AMA moment would be, I think today would be our favorite AMA moment because,
03:14I mean, just being able to perform upfront on AMA itself was just first time. So
03:22that has to be the memorable moment for me, for me.
03:25But yeah.
03:25Yeah. And we get to speak with Billboard.
03:27Yeah.
03:28How about that? Well, thank you guys so much for hanging out with Billboard.
03:31We appreciate it.
03:31Thank you. Thank you.
03:32There we go. Thank you, Stray Kids.
