00:00It so happens that the meeting is taking place in Pakistan because, like us, they are a relatively

00:11The external affairs minister will lead a delegation to Pakistan to participate in the

00:16SCO summit.

00:30Let me start with the first question, you know, yes, I am scheduled to go to Pakistan

00:58in the middle of this month and that is for a meeting of the SCO, SCO Heads of Government.

01:06Normally, Prime Minister goes to the high-level meeting, the Heads of State, and one of us,

01:14it changes, usually one of the ministers goes for the Heads of Government meeting, so that's

01:19in line with the tradition.

01:21It so happens that the meeting is taking place in Pakistan because, like us, they are a relatively

01:26recent member.

01:28So your question, I think, as I understood it was, am I planning for it?

01:33Of course I am planning for it.

01:35I mean, in my business, you plan for everything which you are going to do and for a lot of

01:39things which you are not going to do, and which could happen also, I mean, you plan

01:43for that as well.

01:45So I expect there would be a lot of media interest because the very nature of the relationship

01:54is such and I think we'll deal with it.

01:57But I do want to say it will be for a multilateral event.

02:01I mean, I am not going there to discuss India-Pakistan relations.

02:04I am going there to be a good member of the SCO but, you know, since I am a courteous

02:10and civil person, I will behave myself accordingly.

02:27On our participation in the SCO Summit, yes, the External Affairs Minister will lead our

02:46delegation to Pakistan to participate in the SCO Summit which will be held in Islamabad

02:52on 15th and 16th, I understand, of October.
