00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited the 45th and 44th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits

00:09in the People's Democratic Republic of Vientiane next week.

00:1516 leaders from various parts of the country

00:19are expected to attend from October 9 to 11.

00:25Some are expected to push for an executive order

00:29on the sovereignty and rights of the Philippines in the West Philippine Sea,

00:33regional and international issues affecting the Indo-Pacific region,

00:39and problems in Myanmar, the Korean Peninsula, Ukraine, and Gaza.

00:43Meanwhile, Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo said

00:47that it is also possible to discuss the issue of former Mayor Alice Guo through China

00:53if there is a chance for the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Laos

01:00to address human trafficking related to Pogo.

01:08It now impacts not only the Philippines, but on many of its members.

01:12In fact, some of them are also being brought to the Philippines.

01:16It's happening in mainland Southeast Asia,

01:20and Pogo has counterparts in other ASEAN member states.

01:25And so we are actually actively cooperating on that.
