00:24Trump addresses abortion in the memoir she's releasing next week. She wrote,

00:28it is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having

00:32children based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government.

00:37She also appeared to address the issue in a video posted to X Thursday.

00:41Without a doubt, there is no room for compromise when it comes to this essential right

00:47that all women possess from birth. Mr. Trump's Supreme Court appointments created the conservative

00:53majority that struck down Roe v. Wade in 2022, and he has continued to express pride in that

00:58achievement. But he has also recently attempted to stake out a more moderate position on the issue,

01:02promising to veto any federal abortion ban if elected.
