Easier for people to have the confidence to join UPI: Sharath Bulusu

Delhi: Google’s Director of Product Management, Sharath Bulusu, says, UPI has become a global success, and the way I look at it is that there is still a lot more to happen. There are still many segments of users who don’t have access to digital payments and digital finance, and there is a lot of work we can do to ensure that, whether it is language background, location, or gender, we can break down those barriers with good design. We need to think about how to be responsible, so there is still a lot of work to be done. But I think global recognition helps make it easier for people to have the confidence to join UPI.
