00:54On the thermal camera of FIBOX, which is located at Daang Kastila Monitoring Station in Talisay, Batangas,

00:59you can see the boiling of water in the northern part of the main crater,

01:02which was followed by a stronger eruption.

01:04FIBOX clarified that there was a phreatomagnetic eruption yesterday.

01:08This happens when magma comes into contact with water.

01:13And as a result, there is a mixture of steam and ash and sometimes fragmented volcanic materials.

01:20Even though the Taal Volcano is still at Alert Level 1, it is still an abnormal volcano.

01:25FIBOX has already recorded 40 phreatic eruptions since April.
