00:00The Ministry of Economy and the Government of the United Nations will launch the 13th

00:10Malaysia Plan, scheduled for July 2020-2025.

00:15As I said in my speech, the RMK 13 is a very important RMK, because if the proposed RMK

00:29goes well, it will be the RMK in which Malaysia strives to achieve a high-income country.

00:38Therefore, the proposals and plans must take a slightly different perspective from the

00:49previous five-year plans.

00:54Our desire is to balance between the need for development to advance the country's economy

01:04and the desire of the common people so that there is no big gap.

01:13And we also know that when a country becomes a high-income country, it is not measured

01:22solely by the economic growth rate, the average income of the country, but also how the

01:32prosperity and prosperity of the common people must be at the level of a developed country.

01:44And God willing, the process that starts today will continue until the end of this year.

01:53In addition to the 14 countries that we have to go to, we also have the same session with

01:59other special committees, and with a short timeline, we hope that by the end of this year,

02:08the rough framework that outlines the decisions and big dreams of the country can be laid

02:19before the Prime Minister.

02:22The RMK-13 document will be terminated from its provision by April 2025.

02:33And two months after that is the process of obtaining the approval at the level of the

02:38Ministerial Committee before it is laid in Parliament in July 2025.

02:45No, if we want to hope that all countries will achieve growth compared to, for example,

02:56Selangor, it is not fair because this is not something that happens once in a while.

03:02I mean, Selangor has an advantage because its starting point is better than 100 years ago.
