00:00Na'imah Khalid, the wife of former Finance Minister Daim Zainuddin, made a police report

00:06related to an article by Bloomberg about the investigation of a Malaysian criminal investigation

00:10against her husband.

00:12Na'imah said Bloomberg's report showed that the accusation against Daim and himself

00:16is a conspiracy to undermine the politics of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim

00:20by investing in state institutions and the body of power.

00:24Bloomberg in his report cited sources as saying,

00:28SPRM CEO Azam Baky told his agency that the order to investigate Daim

00:34and former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his son is from Anwar.

00:38Earlier this year, Daim was charged under section 36.2 of the SPRM 2009 Act

00:45for failure to comply with the notice of asset disclosure.

00:50Na'imah is also accused of the same order,

00:52failing to disclose the ownership of several companies,

00:55several land and two vehicles.

00:58Anyway, the Ministry of Finance and the SPRM denied the charges in the Bloomberg report.
