Three days after Anna Delvey was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, Julianne Hough tells PEOPLE she’s staying “very neutral” to Delvey’s terse response. At the Democracy Heroes event in New York City on Friday, Sept. 27, the DWTS co-host tells PEOPLE what she makes of Delvey’s response to her elimination. The convicted con artist told Hough on this week's episode that she would be taking "nothing" away from her experience.

00:00Anna Delvey's reaction to not getting any back on the show. What was your response to that?

00:07I mean I think you saw it. I laughed and I said well there you have it.

00:12What's your reaction now?

00:15You know, everybody has their own experience on the show.

00:19I think, I'm always a big believer in grace, second chances, and showing up.

00:26I think also it's hard to go out first in the competition.

00:32I also heard somewhere that she was actually being silly and being very literal about that with you and her history.

00:41So there was that. So who knows what the experience was but yeah, I'm playing very neutral here.
