Should pints get smaller?

Some have suggested making a standard drink in a pub 2/3 of a pint, instead of a full pint in an effort to decrease binge drinking. We ask the people of Cardiff whether they think the plan would work.

00:23And, yeah, I mean, it should be controlled, drinking.

00:28It doesn't bother me because I don't drink.

00:31And you? Would you go for a big pint or a little bit?

00:37No, I don't think that's the answer at all.

00:40I think the only way to stop drinking excessive alcohol

00:44is to do something with the pricing.

00:46I mean, today, more than ever, people are not going to the pub anymore.

00:49They go to Tesco and buy 12 cans of lager for nothing.

00:53So it's about 8p a pint or something.

00:55So what are they going to do?

00:57Go and sit in the pub for £3.50? No.
