00:15for a variety of counties in the area, and WCNC reports that tens of thousands of people have lost

00:21power. The Hill reported Thursday that this storm was expected to produce damage comparable to the

00:26historic Asheville floods of 1916. WCNC says the rain and winds are expected to continue at least

00:33through midday Friday.
