00:00So is it the Yankees or the field which contains the Astros seven straight pennant series.

00:15They're like the Chiefs in football.

00:17They go every year to the ALCS come hell or high water.

00:22But everyone and their brother in sports books and on media and certainly everyone here in

00:26New York City is stupid enough to fall for the Yankees every single year since before

00:32Christ.

00:33I mean, in New York, every single year, the Yankees either win the World Series or it's

00:39a lousy year.

00:41Yes, it's exactly that.

00:42And being in New York right now, I'm having to deal and mitigate all of these really sad

00:47Yankee fans.

00:48And if they lose one game, all were awful.

00:51Brian Cashman should be fired.

00:53These people are insane.

00:54I can't stress this enough.

00:55They're the best record in the American League.

00:58Do I think they're going to the World Series?

00:59I did have them as a pick.

01:00Remember what I mentioned about that by of all the American League teams getting that

01:03by the team, I think would be the worst with that by is the Yankees.

01:07They're a team that is very predicated on the long ball.

01:09You got the judges, you know, to John Carlos Stanton's and the Juan Soto's of the world.

01:12That doesn't mean one doesn't get on base.

01:14He does.

01:15But if you're a team that's predicated on offense, specifically taking your offense

01:18and putting them down for five days and putting them on ice.

01:21I don't like that.

01:22And I really don't like it for the Yankees.

01:24Now, I'm going to look at the field.

01:26I did take a flyer begin at the beginning of the season of a 1981 Dodger Yankee World

01:30Series.

01:31And a part of that is my heart.

01:32I want to see it.

01:33That's what I really want to see so badly.

01:35But dude, if you're giving me the field, I'm going to take the field because there are

01:38some teams in here that are very interesting.

01:40The Cleveland Guardians are criminally under discussed.

01:42They just are.

01:43And they're without Shane Bieber.

01:44And they're doing this.

01:45The Houston Astros.

01:46Like you said, they've been an albatross and just the devil to the Yankees for years and

01:50years and years.

01:51Not to mention everybody in the AL West.

01:53The teams I think we should look out for, believe it or not, the Detroit Tigers.

01:57And here's why.

01:58The Detroit Tigers are hot.

01:59And when it comes to October, it's not the best teams that win the World Series.

02:01It's the hottest teams.

02:02That's how we got the Texas Rangers.

02:03That's how we got the Arizona Dimebacks last year.

02:05And right now, no one's hotter than the Detroit Tigers.

02:08They are now holding on to that second wildcard spot.

02:10If they can hold on for dear life for these next six days, who knows what this team does

02:14in October.

02:15But another team that does worry me if they sneak in, and there's only one reason because

02:19this team is allergic to offense.

02:21I can't stress this enough.

02:22The Seattle Mariners are terrible at hitting baseballs.

02:25But this team can pitch baseballs better than everybody in the American League.

02:28If they get into October with those young arms, I'm really scared for everyone that

02:32faces them.

02:33They got a week to catch up two games.

02:37And I'm sorry.

02:38You know, I guess the Royals could blow it because they haven't been playing well.

02:41Tigers have been playing great.

02:43Twins got swept by the Red Sox.
