00:52The CPTPP trade agreement consists of 11 countries,
00:56including Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico,
01:02New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam.
01:06Minister of Finance Erlangga Hartarto explained
01:09that this official request was submitted to New Zealand
01:13as a depository country for the CPTPP.
01:16This process is also continued with the meeting
01:18with the major ambassadors of the CPTPP member states.
01:21According to Erlangga, steps to join the CPTPP
01:24are carried out in an effort to access Indonesia
01:26to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development or OECD.
01:30The main goal is to strengthen and expand access to new markets.
01:34One of the markets that is expected to be open from this partnership is America.
01:39Indonesia is optimistic that by joining Indonesia to the CPTPP,
01:42the country's exports can significantly increase,
01:45with the export value target rising by about 10%
01:47through the 11-state trade bloc partnership.
01:50The 11 member states of the CPTPP currently represent
01:53about 13.4% of Bruto Global's domestic products,
01:56with a total economic value of about 13.5 trillion rupiah.
