Manchester United drew 1-1 against FC Twente in their opening match of the Europa League campaign thanks to a goal from Christian Eriksen.

01:07In the second half, their poor defensive work was punished when they were cut open far too easily in the field.

01:18when he was blindsided, lost the ball, and that has equalised for FC20 in front of their vocal support.

01:41Due to the revamped format of the Europa League, a draw really isn't a bad result for United today.

01:46It is disappointing, but once again, they played well and didn't find a way to win the game.
