00:00A lorry driver has been sentenced to 12 months jail.

00:06Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court Judge Siti Aminah Ghazali handed down the sentence on B Satish

00:11Kumar after pleading guilty to two charges linked to a TikTok influencer who was found

00:17dead in July, allegedly because of bullying.

00:19A Rajeswari, also known as Esha, was found dead at her home in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur

00:24on July 5th, just a day after she lodged a police report that she was being harassed

00:29on TikTok.

00:30According to Haryan Metro, the court ordered Satish Kumar to serve 12 months on each charge,

00:36concurrently from the date of his arrest on July 10th.

00:40Before being sentenced, the father of three apologised, admitted his wrongdoing and pledged

00:45not to do it again.

00:46On the first charge, Satish Kumar was accused of intentionally making obscene remarks to

00:51hurt others on his TikTok account Doolal Brothers 360.

00:56On the second charge, Satish Kumar was accused of humiliating Rajeswari's mother, R Pushpa,

01:02through the same TikTok account.
