09:20He can answer questions?
09:22No, I did not know that
09:24Come on, I'll show you
09:25Okay
09:29Oh, now Beth, did you say a snowman
09:32Can answer questions when you put a hat on his head?
09:35Uh-huh, what?
09:37Okay
09:37Mr. Snowman, where does snow come from?
09:41Snow comes from up in the sky, that's right
09:44Oh, he knows snow much
09:47Now, Mr. Snowman, how big is Barney's tummy?
09:52Hmm, very big
09:56Not that big
09:59Uh, Mr. Snowman, can you point to the oldest and most beautiful tree in the park?
10:06Very good, Mr. Snowman, it's over there
10:09Now, tell me, how tall is that tree?
10:13Oh, I think it's taller than that
10:17Taller than that
10:20I can't make my arms go that tall
10:23Oh, Kevin, you make a very smart snowman
10:27Thank you
10:28Barney, my Grammy's in charge of decorating the big tree this Christmas
10:33And invited me to help today
10:35Oh, how fun
10:36May we join you?
10:38Yeah
10:38Sure, come on, everyone, let's go
10:41Oh, this is gonna be still
10:44And this
10:55Grammy!
10:56Hi, sweetie
10:57Oh, I see you brought some friends to help us decorate
11:00Hi, Mrs. Phillips
11:02Hooray, Merry Christmas
11:03Oh, this tree is absolutely tree-mendous
11:09Yes, and it's very special to me, Barney
11:13Oh, why is that, Mrs. Phillips?
11:15Well, long ago, my grandfather, Beth's great-great-grandfather, planted this tree
11:21Oh, yes
11:22Back then, it was tiny
11:24Since then, it's grown every year, and now it's almost the tallest tree in the park
11:30People help decorate it every Christmas
11:32That's right, Beth
11:33And more folks will be here tonight to watch us light the tree
11:36Oh, well, I think it looks beautiful even without any Christmas decorations
11:41Oh, it certainly does, Barney
11:44It's so green and pretty all year
11:49Oh, Christmas tree
11:51Oh, Christmas tree
11:52Your leaves are so unchanging
11:55Oh, Christmas tree
11:57Oh, Christmas tree
11:58Your leaves are so unchanging
12:01Not only green when summer's here
12:04But also when it's cold and drear
12:07Oh, Christmas tree
12:09Oh, Christmas tree
12:10Your leaves are so unchanging
12:19Oh, Christmas tree
12:20Oh, Christmas tree
12:22Oh, Christmas tree
12:23Your leaves are so unchanging
12:26Oh, Christmas tree
12:28Oh, Christmas tree
12:29Your leaves are so unchanging
12:33Not only green when summer's here
12:37But also when it's cold and dry
12:40Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree
12:43Your leaves are so unchanging
12:50Oh, well, as pretty as this tree is now
12:57We're about to make it even more stew-pendous for the Christmas holidays
13:03Let's get started, everybody
13:05Okay!
13:07Now, those boxes hold the strings of lights, which we hang first.
13:11Okay.
13:12These boxes hold some ornaments, but folks will bring lots more.
13:17Mrs. Phillips, what's in this box?
13:21Ah, the most special ornament of all is in this box, Darnell.
13:25It's the shiny gold star that we put at the very top of the tree.
13:32Oh, my goodness. It's not here.
13:35Oh, no.
13:36It's not? The tree has to have its star on top.
13:40What can we do to help?
13:42Let's not worry too much.
13:45Best Grandfather and I keep some of these decorations, including this box, up in our attic.
13:49I'm sure the star is up there somewhere.
13:53Would you please run over to the house and look for it, honey?
13:55Sure, Granny. We'll be back soon.
13:57I'm sure you will, dear. See you later.
13:59Come on, everyone. Let's go.
14:02Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go.
14:06The horse knows a way to carry the sleigh through white and trippy snow.
14:11Over the river and through the woods, oh, how the wind does blow.
14:16It stings the toes and bites the nose as over the ground we go.
14:21Oh, ho, ho, ho. I think we're getting closer.
14:25Oh, ho.
14:25Over the river and through the woods, to have a full day of play.
14:30Oh, hear the bells ringing, tingling, linging.
14:33Hooray! For Christmas Day.
14:34Over the river and through the woods, trot past my devil gray.
14:39Scream lower the ground just like a hound.
14:42Hooray! For Christmas Day.
14:49Over the river and through the woods, now Granny's house I fly.
14:54Hooray! For fun, the pudding's done.
14:56Hooray! For Christmas Day!
14:58Hooray!
15:09Grandpa! Grandpa! Where are you?
15:12Up here, sugar. In the attic.
15:16Watch your step, everybody.
15:19There you are.
15:21Yep, you found me fair and square.
15:23Say, that's quite a crowd you have here.
15:25Hi, everybody.
15:27Hi, Mr. Phillips.
15:29It's good to see you, Mr. Phillips.
15:30I'd shake your hand, Barney, but I'm a little tied up right here.
15:34Uh-oh.
15:34I think I can wiggle my eyebrows, though.
15:36Oh?
15:39I don't have any eyebrows, Mr. Phillips, so I'll just wave.
15:44I was just testing these lights.
15:46I thought I'd decorate the house while your Grammy's over at the park today.
15:50That's why we're here.
15:52The big star is missing from its box,
15:54and Grammy says it's up here in the attic somewhere.
15:57Yes, it probably is.
15:58Let's see.
15:59I took the star out of the box a while back to shine it up.
16:03I must have forgotten to put it back.
16:06I couldn't say where it might be in all this mess, but I'm sure you'll find it.
16:11Might even come across some other treasures, too, if you look hard enough.
16:16Pleasures?
16:17Yeah, lots of them are hiding up here.
16:20Wow!
16:21I'm going downstairs to the living room to put up the tree.
16:24Call me if I can help.
16:26Thank you, Pa. We will.
16:28Okay. See you later, Mr. Phillips.
16:31There sure is a lot of stuff here.
16:34Oh, there certainly is.
16:36Wow!
16:37Where do we start?
16:39We can start with this banjo.
16:41Do you like my hat?
16:44What about this giant marble?
16:49May I have this dance, madam?
16:52Oh, there's so much here to look through.
16:56Oh, I imagine looking around this attic will be great fun.
17:04Just imagine, just imagine, just imagine all the things that we could be.
17:15Imagine all the places we could go and see.
17:23Imagination's fun for you and me.
17:28We could go to the moon in a great big balloon.
17:33Build a castle by playing pretend.
17:36We might even explore with a big dinosaur.
17:40Or make rainbows that never end.
17:44Just imagine, just imagine, just imagine all the things that we could be.
17:55Imagine all the places we could go and see.
18:03Imagination's fun for you and me.
18:09We can go anywhere.
18:11We can be anyone.
18:13We can do it quite easily, too.
18:16We just play, let's pretend, and we know in the end that it's so much fun to do.
18:26Just imagine, just imagine, just imagine all the things that we could be.
18:37Imagine all the places we could go and see.
18:44Imagine all the places we could go and see is.
18:53Imagine all the places we could go and see.
19:03Imagine all the places we could go remember and see is the next one.
19:17Let's see here, nope, no star there, maybe I'll look over here, oh, oh, oh, oh, a big
19:31hoop.
19:34Hey everyone, there's something shiny and gold down in this box.
19:39Oh, the star?
19:40Never mind.
19:42Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, well, keep looking everyone.
19:46We could go check this box.
19:49Wow, your grandfather said we might find treasure, Beth.
19:52Look everybody, a treasure chest.
19:55I wonder what's in it.
19:56Maybe something shiny like our star.
19:59Or maybe something yummy like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
20:05Better than that, Barney.
20:07Look, toys.
20:08Oh, toys are a treasure of fun.
20:11What a cute little teddy bear.
20:14Wow, an airplane with a propeller.
20:20Look, a pretty ragdoll.
20:23Here's a drummer boy.
20:25Oh my.
20:26Whoa, cool.
20:28And another.
20:30Oh, another one.
20:31Whoa.
20:32And another one.

20:34Oh, so many.
20:36Whoa.
20:37And another one.
20:39Wait, listen.
20:41What's that noise?
20:43I don't know what is it.
20:44Perfect.
20:44You better check it out.
20:47How does it work, BJ?
20:50I don't know, sissy.
20:51I'm not even sure what it does.
20:54Oh, look.
20:55It's Baby Puff and BJ.
20:56Oh, hi.
20:57Oh, hi, guys.
20:58What's up?
20:59We were just looking through an old toy chest and found some neat stuff.
21:03Like these drummer boys.
21:04Yeah.
21:05Oh, drummer boys.
21:06Cool.
21:07Oh, and what are you two up to?
21:10BJ was trying to make this thing work.
21:13That's my grandpa's old Victrola.
21:15A what?
21:16It's a Victrola.
21:17It plays music.
21:18All you have to do is wind it up, BJ.
21:21Whoa.
21:22Like this?
21:23Oh, just like that.
21:26Whoa.
21:28That's one of my favorite holiday songs.
21:31March of the Toys.
21:32Toys Partager.
21:42Toys March.
21:44One, two, three, four.
21:47Whoa.
21:51That's it.

22:07Back, March, March.
22:08Yeah.
22:09Ho, ho, ho!
22:10Very good!
22:19One, two, three, four.
22:24O, one, two, three, four.
22:28Ho, ho, ho, ho.
22:30Oh, ho.
22:31Oh, I love my game!
22:32March, March, March, March.
22:53Oh, you are my stint-pandish drums.
22:58Thanks, Mommy.
22:59Oh, what a charm.
23:10Marching, marching, can we play some more now?
23:13We're trying not to play too much, Baby Bot.
23:16Yeah, we're looking for the star that goes on top of the tree in the big park.
23:20Looking for a star up here and all this cool stuff?
23:24Can Sissy and I help?
23:26Yes, can we please?
23:28Oh, you sure can.
23:30Okay, everyone, let's keep looking.
23:33I'm looking right over here.
23:35Here, it'll start.
23:38Hey, a basketball.
23:41Cool.
23:43Baseball cards.
23:46Mickey Mantle, 1952.
23:49Old baseball cards.
23:54What's this?
23:57I found it.
23:59I found the star.
24:00Wow, let's see.
24:02Way to go, Kevin.
24:05Where's the box?
24:06Here it is.
24:07All right.
24:12Oops.
24:13I think the star is a little small.
24:16Yeah, I don't think it's the one for the big tree in the park.
24:20No.
24:21No.
24:22That must be the star that my grandpa puts on his tree downstairs.
24:26Oh.
24:27Well, I'm sure we'll find the right one soon.
24:29Yeah.
24:30Let's keep looking.
24:33Hey, Darnell.
24:34I wonder what's under here.
24:36Let's look.
24:37Okay.
24:41Is it some kind of furniture?
24:43Oh, well, that's an old roll-top desk.
24:46The cover rolls right up.
24:48Here, let me show you.
24:49Whoa.
24:50Maybe the star's inside.
24:53Whoa, that's not a star.
24:55What is it?
24:57Oh, that's an old typewriter.
24:59How does it work?
25:00Well, each key has a letter on it.
25:03Oh, yeah, like a computer keyboard.
25:05Right.
25:06And we can use a typewriter to write letters.
25:09Oh.
25:10Oh, let's write a letter to Santa.
25:13Oh, that's a good idea.
25:14Okay, what do we want it to say?
25:17Hmm, let's see.
25:19We're writing a letter to Santa today
25:22with so many things that we want to say.
25:26Dear Santa, we're writing to wish you good cheer
25:29and tell you how good we've been this year.
25:33Oh, Santa Claus, Santa Claus, please visit me.
25:36The house will look pretty with lights on a tree.
25:40I'll leave you some cookies on Christmas Eve night.
25:44I'll be in my bed all snuggled up tight.
25:47I can't wait.
25:49Oh, oh, oh.
25:50Fly up to my roof in your reindeer sleigh.
25:54Then slide down my chimney with gifts right away.
25:58Before we forget, there's one thing more.
26:01For kids without chimneys, please use their door.
26:04Oh, Santa Claus, Santa Claus, please visit me.
26:08The house will look pretty with lights on a tree.
26:11I'll leave you some cookies on Christmas Eve night.

26:35With love from Baby Bop and her friends.
26:43I found a ball.
26:45I found a ball.
26:47Oh, Cammie, what did you find?
26:49Some old books.
26:51Books?
26:52Oh, I like books.
26:54Would you read a book to us, Barney, please?
26:57Yeah, Barney.
26:58Well, we should be looking for the star.
27:01Pretty, please?
27:03But I guess we could read just one book.
27:05Yeah.
27:07Now, which books do we have here?
27:09Here's the gingerbread boy.
27:11Oh, that's a good one.
27:12This is Mother Goose Rhyme.
27:14Another personal favorite?
27:16A picture of Santa.
27:18What's this book, Barney?
27:20Oh, that's a very special book for this time of year, Baby Bop.
27:24It's called The Night Before Christmas.
27:27Oh, goody.
27:28Would you read that book, please?
27:30Yeah.
27:30Oh, I'd be delighted.
27:34Yeah.
27:35Oh, let's see here.
27:38T'was the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring,
27:44not even a mouse.
27:46The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would
27:52be there.
27:53The children were nestled, all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums danced in
27:59their heads.
28:00And Mama and her kerchief, and I and my cap, had just settled down for a long winter's nap.
28:06When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the
28:12matter.
28:13Away to the window I flew in a flash, tore open the shutters, and threw up the sash.
28:19The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow gave a luster of midday to objects below.
28:26When what to my wondering eye should appear but a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer.
28:32With a little old driver so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
28:39More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, and he whistled and shouted and called them
28:45by name.
28:46Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer and Vixen, on Comet, on Cupid, on Donner and Blitzen.
28:53To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall, now dash away, dash away, dash away all.
28:59So up to the housetop the coursers they flew, with a sleigh full of toys and St. Nicholas too.
29:06And then in a twinkling I heard on the roof the francing and pawing of each little hoof.
29:12As I drew in my hand and was turning around, down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.
29:18He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, and his clothes were all tarnished
29:25with ashes and soot.
29:26A bundle of toys he had flung on his back, and he looked like a peddler just opening his
29:32pack.
29:32His eyes how they twinkled, his dimples how merry.
29:36His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry.
29:39His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, and the beard of his chin was as white
29:45as the snow.
29:47He had a round face and a little round belly, that shook when he laughed like a ball full
29:52of jelly.
29:53He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf, and I laughed when I saw him in spite of
30:00myself.
30:01A wink of his eye and a twist of his head soon gave me to know I had nothing to
30:06dread.
30:07He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, and filled all the stockings, then turned
30:14with a jerk, and laying his finger aside of his nose, and giving a nod, up the chimney
30:20he rose.
30:21He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, and away they all flew like the down
30:28on a thistle.
30:29And I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight, Happy Christmas to all, and to all
30:37a good night.
30:39The end.
30:40Oh, I like that story, Barney.
30:45Santa up on the roof, and clump, clump, clump, clump.
30:48I wish Santa would come today, and bring us a star for the tree.
30:52Well, I'm sure we'll find it soon.
30:55Let's keep looking.
30:56Okay.
30:57Okay.
30:57I haven't looked over here.
31:00I haven't looked over here.
31:02I can't find a star anywhere.
31:05Hey, everyone, over here.
31:07Found the star.
31:08You found it?
31:08You found the star.
31:09I found a picture of it, I think.
31:12Oh, just a picture?
31:14Yeah.
31:15Look here.
31:17That's a star, all right.
31:18See, my great-great-grandpa's standing next to the tree, when it was tiny.
31:23Oh, it looks like it was too small to hold up the star.
31:27But now that the tree's grown up, I bet the star's the perfect size.
31:32If we could find it.
31:34Yeah, and everyone's counting on us to bring it for the tree lighting tonight.
31:38Yeah.
31:38Well, maybe it's time to ask the star for a little help.
31:42Great idea, Barney.
31:44How do we do that?
31:46Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
31:49How we wonder where you are.
31:53Somewhere in this attic high.
31:57We can't find you, though we try.
32:01Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
32:04Show us now just where you are.
32:08Oh, little star.
32:09Where are you?
32:11Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
32:14How we wonder where you are.
32:18Somewhere in this attic high.
32:21We can't find you, though we try.
32:25Twinkle, twinkle, twinkle, little star.
32:29Show us now just where you are.
32:33Twinkle, twinkle, twinkle, little star.
32:37Guess the star's not talking today.
32:39Guess not.
32:41We looked everywhere in this attic.
32:44I guess we won't have a star to put on top of the tree tonight.
32:48Ay, yi, yi.
32:49Oh, boy, where is that star?
32:52Oh, hey, guys, this looks like the top of a star.
32:57We found it.
32:58We found a star.
33:00Let's see what's under here.
33:03The star.
33:03We found it.
33:04We found it.
33:06Yay.
33:06Ayah was right here all the time.
33:09Well, let's put it back in its box.
33:11Oh, good.
33:13Here we go.
33:15A perfect fit.
33:20Okay, everybody, let's get back to the park.
33:23It sounds like a very happy commotion up here.
33:26Grandpa, Grandpa, we found the star.
33:28Oh, good job.
33:29I knew you would, sugar.
33:31We better get it over to your grandmother.
33:32Oh, look.
33:34Oh, uh, Baby Bop, we have to go now.
33:37No more time to play.
33:38But listen, Barney.
33:41Jingle, baby.
33:42Can we play with them, please?
33:45Well, Barney, as we hurry to the park, we will be dashing through the snow.
33:49Oh, and over the fields we'll go.
33:52Let's jingle go away.
33:54Ha, ha, ha.
33:55Bring those along, Baby Bop.
33:56I think we will be needing some jingle bells after all.
33:59Oh, goody.
34:00I found jingle bells.
34:02Here we go.
34:03Jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle.
34:21Oh, what fun it is to ride and sing a sleigh song tonight.
34:28Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
34:33Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
34:40Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
34:56Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
35:09Grammy, we found a star.
35:11Good work, everyone.
35:13You found it.
35:14We sure did.
35:16Oh, the tree is so pretty.
35:18Oh, it is.
35:19Yeah, cool.
35:21Look at all the ornaments.
35:23Everybody brought some to put on the tree.
35:25And we brought the prettiest one of all.
35:28Why don't we let your grandpa put the star up there?
35:33Meantime, let's put a few finishing touches on the tree.
35:43Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree, your candles shine so brightly.
35:48Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree, your candles shine so brightly.
35:54From days to summer, day and bright, there's only splendor for the sight.
36:01Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree, your candles shine so brightly.
36:12Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree, your candles shine so brightly.
36:18Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree, your candles shine so brightly.
36:25From days to summer, day and bright, there's only splendor for the sight.
36:31Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree, your candles shine so brightly.
36:46Okay, everyone, it's time to light the tree.
36:50Hold on, hold on there.
36:51It seems we have a little problem.
36:54Oh, what's that?
36:56I can't reach the top of the tree from this ladder anymore.
37:00Oh, well, come on down, Mr. Phillips.
37:04Maybe I can help.
37:05You probably can reach the top from the ladder, Barney.
37:08You certainly are taller than anyone else.
37:12Maybe so, Mr. Phillips.
37:14But let's try this.
37:17Whoa!
37:20Whoa!
37:25We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and a
37:32Happy New Year.
37:33Glad tidings we bring to you and your kid.
37:51We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and a
37:58Happy New Year.
37:59Glad tidings we bring to you and your kid.
38:04We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
38:21I want to thank all of you for bringing ornaments to make the tree the most beautiful it's ever been.
38:27And I'd especially like to thank my granddaughter, Beth, and her friends for finding our lovely star.
38:37Thanks, Grammy.
38:39Thanks, Grammy.
38:39And we'd just like to say...
38:41Merry Christmas, everybody!
