00:00Well I'm just outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium here where Tottenham won 3-1 against
00:04Brentford this afternoon and I think this afternoon was just about really getting back
00:08to winning ways for Tottenham after two straight league defeats in recent weeks. Of course they
00:13narrowly avoided an embarrassing Carabao Cup exit in midweek against Coventry with two late
00:18goals winning that 1-2-1 and here they won 3-1 against Brentford. This was much more convincing
00:23they went behind in crazy circumstances when Brian and Buemos swept home for Brentford after just 24
00:29seconds but Tottenham were the dominant side throughout other than that and they were level
00:34up just eight minutes with Dominic Solanke scoring for the first time in a Tottenham shirt
00:39since his £65m move from Bournemouth last month. There were also goals for Brennan Johnson who of
00:47course has come under some criticism in recent weeks and has deactivated his Instagram account
00:51in response to that but he's now scored twice in a week of course the winner against Coventry and
00:55now a fine, fine goal this afternoon against Brentford and James Madison scored the third
01:00late on in the second half. He was definitely Spurs' best performer today, winning the ball back
01:07for both of the first two goals in the first half and then scoring the third. Madison, I think it'd
01:12been a long time coming really a performance like this in a Tottenham shirt from him but he played
01:16excellently and deserved his goal. 3-1 win for Tottenham and for Ant Postacoglu's side good to
01:22get back to winning ways after two defeats in the league they're now 10th.
