00:22But this feels like the battle for Detroit to win this game

00:26Now, the good news is you can sit here and say,

00:29Oh, Kyle Murray's tough to bring down.

00:30You know, it's tough to bring down Baker Mayfield.

00:32And they got they got to Baker Mayfield.

00:35Murray might be even slippery stuff, but but.

00:38I think I've experienced one week ago.

00:48And the thing about Hutch now Hutch is going to be dealing with.

00:51We saw him beat double teams last week where, you know, the tight end

00:56would chip him and then he'd take on a tackle and he'd still get a sack.

00:59So now he might have to deal with the tight end and the chip

01:01and the running back coming over and hitting him and the tackle waiting for him.

01:05Well, and a better let's just face it, though.

01:07It's a better tackle this week than what he's faced the first two weeks.

01:10I mean, a Beecham at 35. We'll see.

01:12Not saying he's going to shut him down.

01:14I think Hutch will get there.

01:16But I wouldn't I'm not expecting a four and a half sack performance

01:19or a dominating performance like we saw last week.

01:21But I think Hutchinson can get there.

01:23The question is, will he have company?

01:29And it looks like Anzorica just missed a couple of chances.

02:20because Rams are shell themselves with what they have left.

02:23But their yards per carry allowed is top five in the NFL through two games.

02:27Now they're passing defense.

02:28There's one thing about this opposing quarterbacks in the two games.

02:31So Stafford and Josh Allen have completed

02:3375% of their passes in these two games against the Cardinals defense.

02:37So it's something that Jared Goff and the pass game.

02:43Should be able to find open receivers.

02:45It should be the kind of day where they can get the ball,

02:48get it done through the air.

02:49I don't know if that's what people want to hear,

02:51because it feels like if we're listening to the callers this week,

02:54they want more David Montgomery.

02:57They want more David Montgomery,

02:58even though Montgomery isn't coming off a great statistical game.

03:01Well, I think people want Montgomery when it makes sense to see more Montgomery.

03:05And the problem is they didn't get that opportunity last week.

03:07They weren't inside the 10 yard line.

03:10So if you get inside the 10 yard line, I'm with them.

04:09It's just a matter of winning the games and moving the foot.

04:16A good weapon in the red zone, eight of his ten touchdowns

04:19were red zone touchdowns last year.

04:21And then there's also the case of Tim Patrick, who came in to Detroit,

04:25was here for 30 minutes and got 33 snaps last week against against Tampa.

04:31Yeah.

04:32So that's another guy that feels like he's getting crash coursed

04:35and could be a red zone threat.

04:36Yeah, but it's through two weeks.

04:38So it wasn't just last week without Laporta.

04:41Laporta has only been targeted eight times in the two weeks.

04:43And I think we expected a lot more than that.

04:45And like I said, I think Sunday is going to be the correction with that one.

04:49He'll get a decent amount of of targets.

04:51Heck, he might even get eight targets on Sunday, you know,

04:54but they'll spread it around.

04:56I'm excited about Tim Patrick because of his size

04:59and because of his experience in the league that they because you mentioned

05:0333 snaps, that's a lot. Yep. OK.

05:07Now, they had a lot of snaps to offer last week,

05:09but his first opportunity gets 33.

05:12Well, we'll see what percentage he's going to get in the game this week.

05:15But he's he's someone they're looking at.

05:18We were put on alert last week when we talked to Jared Goff a week ago

05:21and he mentioned him right off the bat before he was even activated.

05:24And we talked to him about it this week.

05:26And he said, yeah, this is this is something that's going to be worth

05:30watching as the season progresses, because he is the only option

05:33they have at wide receiver that's above six foot to

05:37feedback coming in from an unnamed texter.

05:38The Lions are not able to adequately deal with a mobile quarterback, period,

05:42until they prove otherwise.

05:43That's exactly how I'm going to feel.

05:45So what team does well with a it's it's funny, right?

05:50Every I feel like every fan base says the same thing about their team

05:53can't handle a mobile quarterback.

05:55Mobile quarterbacks give people problems.

05:58Full stop, right? I mean, they just it's

06:01it's one thing that they do.

06:04That gives people problems and they might put up some stats.

06:08But I mean, Baker Mayfield didn't exactly like the world on fire last week.

06:12He did make some plays.

06:14Credit him.

06:15He threw for one hundred eighty five yards and rushed for thirty four.

06:18But he was perfect when he was throwing the ball.

06:20He didn't make any mistakes.

06:21Completes over 80% of his passes and literally has a perfect quarterback

06:25rating for the game of one hundred and fifty eight.

06:27Baker Mayfield. I'm sorry.

06:31I was like, Baker Mayfield was not.

06:39But I would take if Kyler Murray's held to one hundred eighty five yards

06:51Yes. OK. Baker Mayfield's a mobile quarterback.

06:54So I think we have a recent example of the Lions adequately dealing,

06:58as he put it, with a mobile quarterback.

07:00Well, they did.

07:00But I also again will will point to the fact that they were playing

07:04without some some players on the offense there in the offensive line in particular.

07:10And that plays a role into it, plays a big role into it.

07:13But our point about every team just about in the NFL

07:18has difficulties once a quarterback decides to take off and run.

07:21If they're one of those guys, Kyler Murray is one of those guys.

07:24Lamar Jackson is one of those guys.

07:26Baker Mayfield, to an extent, is one of those guys.

07:29Justin Fields is one of those guys.

07:31The people have a skill set.

07:33And when the play breaks down, it's time for him to take off and go.

07:36You're going to have problems.

07:38It's frustrating because you feel like when the quarterback has to scramble,

07:41you are in the process of winning the down and then the quarterback makes you lose it.

07:46And I get the frustration with it.

07:47But that's what running quarterbacks do.

07:49Next text, they are going one and two guys.

07:51The defense won't travel and won't have the juice of Ford Field behind them.

07:56The red zone continues to be very bad for the offense.

08:00It doesn't one out of seven doesn't get fixed overnight.

08:03Actually, it can.

08:05The defense has been really good.

08:07And don't underestimate the power of the lines that travel to Arizona.
