00:00I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
00:08In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
00:15All praise is due to Allah, Who sent down the Book to His servant, and made no crookedness thereof
00:27He has established it, that He may warn of a severe punishment from Him, and that He may give good news to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will have a good reward
00:51Abiding therein forever
00:56And He warns those who say, Allah has taken a son
01:03They have no knowledge of it, nor do their fathers
01:11A word has grown large that comes out of their mouths. They do not say except a lie
01:23So perhaps you will strike yourself on their tracks if they do not believe in this hadith, alas
01:37Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth an adornment for it, that We may test them as to which of them is best in deed
01:49And indeed, We will make that which is on it a steep ascent
01:59Or do you think that the companions of the cave and the rock were of Our signs a wonder
02:12When the young men turned to the cave and said, Our Lord, give us mercy from Yourself, and make easy for us the right course of our affair
02:32So We struck upon their ears in the cave for a number of years
02:42Then We raised them up that We might know which of the two parties was better in account of what they had spent
02:52We tell you their story in truth
03:00Indeed, they are young men who have believed in their Lord, and We have increased them in guidance
03:08And We struck upon their hearts when they stood up and said, Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. We will not call upon other than Him a god. Indeed, We said, then, in a loud voice
03:35These are Our people who have taken gods besides Him. Why do they not come to them with a clear authority? So who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against God
04:00And when you have left them and they worship none but Allah, then go to the cave. Your Lord will spread out for you from His mercy and make easy for you the right course of your affair
04:25And you will see the sun, when it rises, move away from their cave to the right, and when it sets, you will approach them to the left, and they will be in a gap from it
04:48That is one of the signs of Allah. Whoever Allah guides, he is the guided one, and whoever He leaves astray, you will not find for him a guardian guiding him
05:07And you will think that they are awake while they are asleep. And We will turn them to the right and to the left, and their dog will be wide and his arms will be in the middle
05:29If you had looked at them, you would have fled from them, and you would have been filled with fear
06:00They said, your Lord knows best what you have spent, so send one of you with this document to the city, so that he may see which is purer in food
06:28So let him see which is purer in food, and let him bring you provision from it, and let him be gentle, and let him not perceive you at all
06:47Indeed, if they prevail over you, they will stone you or repeat you in their religion, and you will never succeed then
07:06And thus did We cause them to know that the promise of Allah is true, and that the Hour is in it no doubt
07:21When they disputed among themselves over their affair, they said, Build on them a building
07:31Their Lord knows them best. Those who prevailed over their affair said, We will take upon them a masjid
07:46They will say, Three, the fourth of them is their dog, and they will say, Five, the sixth of them is their dog, stoning in the unseen
08:03And they will say, Seven, and the eighth of them is their dog. Say, My Lord knows best among them what only a few know
08:20So do not dispute among them except in plain sight, and do not inquire among them about any of them
08:36And do not say of anything, Indeed, I will do that tomorrow, except that Allah wills. And remember your Lord when you forget, and say, Perhaps my Lord will guide me to a more just way than this
09:04And they stayed in their cave three hundred years and increased nine
09:14Say, Allah knows best what they stayed in. To Him is the unseen of the heavens and the earth. See with it and hear. They have no protector other than Him, and no partner in His judgment
09:40And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. There is no substitute for His words, and you will not find besides Him a refuge
09:58And be patient in your soul with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, desiring His Face, and let not your eyes deviate from them
10:17You desire the adornment of the life of this world, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, and who follows his desire, and whose affair is ever in disorder
10:34And say, The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills, let him believe, and whoever wills, let him disbelieve
11:04Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, indeed, We do not waste the reward of one who does a good deed
11:30Those will have the Gardens of Eternity beneath which rivers flow, in which they will be adorned with bracelets of gold
11:50And they will be wearing green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on couches
12:12Excellent is the reward, and excellent is the reward in high
12:17And set forth for them the parable of two men. We made for one of them two gardens of grapevines, and surrounded them with date-palms, and placed between them crops
12:39Both the two gardens gave their fruits, and you did not wrong any of them, and We caused a river to flow through them
12:54And he had a fruit, and he said to his companion, while he was speaking to him, I am greater than you in wealth and more powerful in men
13:10And he entered his garden, and he was unjust to himself. He said, I do not think that this will ever perish
13:25And I do not think that the Hour will be established, nor if I am returned to my Lord, I will surely find better than it in return
13:42His companion said to him, while he was speaking to him, Do you disbelieve in the One who created you from dust, then from a sperm, then formed you into a man
14:07But He is Allah, my Lord, and I do not associate anyone with my Lord
14:19And why did you not, when you entered your garden, say, Allah wills, there is no power except with Allah
14:31If you see that I am less than you in wealth and children, then perhaps my Lord will give me something better than your garden
14:47And He will send upon it two mountains from the sky, and it will become a high mountain, or its water will become deep, and you will not be able to ask for it
15:11And he was surrounded by his fruit, and he began to turn his hands over what he had spent in it, while it was still on its tops
15:30And he said, Oh, I wish I had not associated with my Lord anyone, and there would not have been for him a party to help him other than Allah
15:57And he was not a victor. There is loyalty to Allah, the truth. He is better in reward and better in punishment
16:13And set forth for them the example of the life of this world as if We had sent it down from the sky, and the plant of the earth mixed with it, and it became dry, the winds blowing it
16:39And Allah is Powerful over all things
16:46Wealth and children are the adornment of this worldly life, and the good things that remain are better in the sight of your Lord in reward and better in hope
17:03And the Day We will move the mountains, and you will see the earth exposed, and We will gather them together, and We will not leave any of them
17:17And they will be presented before your Lord in rows. You have come to Us as We created you the first time, but you claimed that We would not make for you an appointment
17:36And the Book will be placed, and you will see the criminals afraid of what is in it, and they will say, O our woe! What is this Book?
17:54What is this Book? It does not leave a small or a large one except that it has counted it, and they found what they did present, and your Lord does not wrong anyone
18:15And when We said to the angels, prostrate to Adam, they prostrated except Iblis
18:28He was of the jinn, so he disobeyed the command of his Lord. Will you take him and his progeny as allies instead of Me, while they are your enemies? Wretched is the replacement for the wrongdoers
18:50I did not make them witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor the creation of their souls, and I did not take those who mislead as allies
19:06And the Day will come when they will say, Call the partners of mine whom you claimed, and they will call them, but they will not respond to them, and We will put a barrier between them
19:36And We have expounded in this Qur'an for the people every kind of example, and man is most of all in dispute
19:53And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them and they asked forgiveness of their Lord, except that the way of the ancients should come to them
20:21or the punishment should come to them early, and We do not send messengers except as bearers of good tidings and warners
20:36And those who disbelieve argue with falsehood that they may deny the truth with it, and they take My signs, and they are not warned by ridicule
20:56And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the signs of his Lord, but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have sent forth? Indeed, We have placed a barrier over their hearts that they may understand it, and in their ears is deafness
21:25And if you call them to guidance, they will not be guided, then, ever. And your Lord is Forgiving, Possessor of mercy. If He had seized them for what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment
21:48Rather, they have an appointment that they will not find other than it. And those cities We destroyed because they were unjust, and We made for their destruction an appointment
22:13And when Moses said to his servant, I will not leave until I reach the junction of the two seas or pass a period
22:33So when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, so he took his way in the sea, fleeing
22:48So when they had passed, he said to his servant, Give us our lunch. We have certainly met from our journey this person
23:03He said, Have you seen when we turned to the rock, and I forgot the fish
23:13And I did not forget it except the devil, or I remember it. And he took his way in the sea, wondering
23:26He said, That is what we were seeking. So they returned to their footprints, narrating
23:37So they found a servant of Our servants. We gave him mercy from Ourself, and We taught him from Ourself knowledge
23:56Moses said to him, Shall I follow you to teach me from what you have been taught? He said, You will not be able with me to be patient
24:14And how can you be patient on that which you have no knowledge of? He said, You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in any matter
24:32He said, Then if you follow me, do not ask me for anything until I give you from it a reminder. So they set off
24:47Until, when they boarded the ship, he broke it. He said, Did you break it to drown its people? You have done a terrible thing
25:03He said, Did I not say that you will not be able with me to be patient
25:11He said, Do not hold me to account for what I have forgotten, and do not make difficult for me my affair. So they set off
25:24Until, when they met a boy, he killed him. He said, Did you kill a pure soul without a soul? You have done a terrible thing
25:44He said, Did I not say that you will not be able with me to be patient
25:53He said, If I ask you about anything after this, do not accompany me. You have reached from me an excuse
26:08So they set off. Until, when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to host them, so they found in it a wall that wanted to collapse, so it stood
26:35He said, If you wanted, you would have taken a reward for it
26:41He said, This is the separation between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of what you did not ask for patience
26:54As for the ship, it belonged to poor people who worked in the sea, so I wanted to return it, and there was behind them a king who seized every ship by force
27:22And as for the boy, his parents were believers, so we feared that he would cover them with transgression and disbelief
27:41So we wanted to replace them with their Lord, better than him in purity and closer to mercy
28:05A treasure for them, and their father was righteous, so your Lord wanted to reach them and take out their treasure
28:25A mercy from your Lord, and I did not do it by my command. That is the interpretation of what you did not ask for patience
28:40And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, I will bring to you from him a reminder
28:52Indeed, We have established for him in the land, and We have given him of everything a way, so he followed a way
29:06Until when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a blazing fire, and he found with it a people
29:23We said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you will be punished, or you will take in them good
29:37He said, As for he who is unjust, we will punish him, then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him a terrible punishment
29:56And as for he who believes and does good, he will have a reward for good, and We will say to him, from Our command, easily
30:12Then he followed a way, until when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it rising on a people whom We had not made a cover for them
30:36Thus it was, and We surrounded him with what he had as information, then he followed a way, until when he reached between the two mountains, he found besides them a people whom they could hardly understand
31:05They said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Ya'juj and Ma'juj are corrupting in the land, so shall we make for you a barrier between us and them
31:33He said, What my Lord has established for me is better, so help me with strength, I will make between you and them a barrier
31:49Then he followed a way, until when he reached between the two mountains, he found it rising on a people whom they could hardly understand
32:16So they could not see it, and they could not turn to it
32:25He said, This is a mercy from my Lord, so when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it sound, and the promise of my Lord is true
32:42And We left some of them that Day to waver among themselves, and the trumpet was blown, and We gathered them together
32:56And We presented Hell, that Day, to the disbelievers as a display
33:04Those whose eyes were covered from My remembrance, and they could not hear
33:23Did those who disbelieved think that they would take My servants as allies instead of Me
33:36Indeed, We prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a descent
33:44Say, Shall We inform you of the losers in deeds
33:51Those whose effort has gone astray in the life of this world, while they think that they are doing good
34:03Those who disbelieved in the signs of their Lord and meeting Him, and their deeds were in vain, so We will not establish for them, on the Day of Resurrection, any burden
34:25That is their recompense, Hell, because they disbelieved and took My signs and My messengers as a mockery
34:38Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Paradise as a descent
34:50Abiding therein, they will not desire from it any change
34:57Say, If the sea were an ointment for the words of my Lord, the sea would surely run out before the words of my Lord would run out, even if We came with the like of it as a support
35:21Say, I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me that your God is one God
35:39So whoever hopes to meet his Lord, let him do righteous deeds
35:50And let him not associate anyone with the worship of his Lord
