00:00Southwest Monsoon or Hangi Habagan will continue to sweep through a large portion of the Luzon and Visayas

00:06and it will continue to rain, especially in the western and northern portions of our country.

00:11Meanwhile, there is a low-pressure area in the north coast of the northern Luzon, here in the northern Philippine Sea.

00:19And as of 3 in the morning, it has seen more than 700 kilometers in the east coast of Batanes.

00:24Based on our analysis, the chance of a low-pressure area for today is low.

00:29However, we still expect that the probability of a tropical depression will increase over this weekend.

00:37Based on our analysis, the weather disturbance in our country, Taiwan, will continue to sweep through.

00:43And we are not ignoring the chance of a tropical depression.

00:47We will call it a low-pressure area.

00:50This low-pressure area means that the chance of a landfall will be low or it will affect our country.

00:58So, we will continue to monitor.

01:02For today, we still expect a high chance of rain in the western section of the Luzon,

01:06including Zambales, Bataan, and Ilocos region, because it is still in the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

01:12Sometimes, we will have heavy rainfall, especially in Zambales and Bataan,

01:16so be careful of flooding and landslides.

01:20In the remaining part of the Luzon, including Metro Manila,

01:23we still expect a cloudy sky with scattered rain and thunderstorms.

01:29So, make sure to bring an umbrella if necessary.

01:32The chance of rain is also high in Maycaguayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region,

01:37especially in the afternoon and evening.

01:40Our temperature in Metro Manila is from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.

01:47For our countrymen in Palawan and Samar Provinces,

01:51we still expect a cloudy sky with scattered rain and thunderstorms because it is still in the Southwest Monsoon.

01:58So, be careful of flooding and landslides.

02:01In the remaining part of Visayas, we still expect fair weather conditions

02:05or a cloudy sky with scattered rain.

02:10The chance of rain is high in Patimpanay Island and Negros Occidental.

02:15Our temperature in Metro Cebu is from 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.

02:19For our countrymen in the majority of Mindanao,

02:22we still expect a cloudy sky or fair weather conditions from morning to afternoon.

02:27Afternoon will be hot and windy.

02:30In the afternoon and evening, the chance of rain is still high in Northern Mindanao and Caraga Region

02:37as well as in Davao Region.

02:39Our temperature in Metro Davao is from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:45As of now, we have removed the gale warning over the western seaboards of Luzon.

02:49However, moderate to rough seas or up to 3.5 meters high waves will continue.

02:55This is still dangerous for small sea vessels.

02:58In the remaining parts of our country,

03:00slight to moderate seas or up to 2.5 meters in the eastern part of our country

03:05will continue until the waves reach the right height in the remaining parts of our country.

03:12For our three-day weather forecast,

03:14we still expect occasional rains in the northern part of Luzon

03:19due to the southwest monsoon and possible trough of the low-pressure area in the east of Batanes.

03:25We expect the highest chance of rain in Batanes,

03:28Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan.

03:32While we still recommend you to bring an umbrella,

03:36the majority of Luzon, including Cordillera Region, Cagayan Valley,

03:40the remaining part of Central Luzon, Metro Manila, the majority of Calabasas, and Mimaropa

03:45still have a high chance of rain and snowfall, especially in the afternoon and evening.

03:52And for the remaining part of the country, Visayas and Mindanao,

03:55over this weekend, we still expect fair weather conditions.

03:58So there will be no problem if we have plans or travel plans over this weekend

04:04While Sunday to Monday arrives,

04:06we still expect scattered rain and thunderstorms in Batanes,

04:09Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan.

04:12While the remaining part of the country, including Metro Manila,

04:16from Sunday to Monday, our weather conditions will improve

04:19and we will only have occasional rains or snowfall.
