00:00You become what you behold. Vision is a very important thing, and the Bible says
00:05heavenly vision is what the Apostle Paul had, without which it's very difficult to
00:11overcome and thrive in this world because the circumstances and the
00:15pressure of life can be very overwhelming and can undo you and hold
00:20you down as you try to live and navigate through the nuances of life, the beggarly
00:27elements of this world and all the challenges therein can easily contain
00:31and try to captivate and control you. But the Bible says we are all changed as we
00:38behold the glory of the Lord in His image. We can go from glory to glory by
00:45the Spirit of the Lord, the Bible says in 2nd Corinthians 3 verse 18. So change
00:50comes through beholding the risen Christ and the glory of God and the goodness
00:56and the greatness of God and what He's capable of doing in and through your
00:59life. So you behold and then you become. So be careful what you continually
01:05fixate on and focus on because where focus goes, energy flows. And beware of
01:11double-minded people because they're unstable in all their ways as it
01:16pertains to relationships, as I've written some books recently on
01:20relationships. Looking over the fence, those who are inclined to do so
01:24relationally and do not have a single heart or mind and vision, they're
01:29unstable in all their ways. The Bible says it clearly in James chapter 1 verse 8,
01:33a double-minded person is unstable in all their ways. And even Jesus said in
01:37Luke chapter 17 verse 32, remember Lot's wife. Wow, three words there, remember
01:44Lot's wife. And He didn't really elaborate, so clearly He was speaking to
01:48biblically oriented and trained people because they knew the scriptures that He
01:52was referencing. And Jesus was referencing Genesis 19 verse 26 because
01:58Lot's wife looked back and took her eyes off of Him and in so doing she became a
02:05pillar of salt. So when you lose your vision, you're subject to perish and
02:11negative change and bondage and darkness because Jesus said when your eye is
02:15single, your body is full of light. So conversely, when your eyes are not single
02:20and you're bouncing around and you're looking around and you're not going in a
02:25specific direction and you lack heavenly vision, then your life can be full of
02:29confusion and darkness and disillusionment and vain imaginations,
02:33temptation, seduction and lack stability. So may God help us to have a heavenly
02:40vision for our lives and don't commit to somebody relationally if they have a
02:46lack of vision and they can't keep their eyes on you. Do yourself a favor and
02:53avoid the heartache and the headaches and the pain that's going to come by
02:56people who are rubbernecking and always window shopping and looking across the
03:01fence to see what else is out there. If the pasture may be
03:05greener abroad or in another field. So that type of person is not worth
03:09building your life with. So be wise. There's multiple applications to this
03:13spiritual truth, but when your eyes are single, when you have heavenly vision,
03:16your body is full of life. Your life is full of energy.
03:20Your life is full of focus and vitality and you can live purposefully and
03:24powerfully. So may God grant and give you heavenly vision by the Holy Ghost, lift
03:28you up to where you belong and move you forth into your purpose, your destiny, and
03:31help you live powerfully for His glory. Amen.
