00:00Ah, yes, as you, my friend, develop a healthy relationship with yourself, saying no to others
00:09will become more natural.
00:11I know when I first gave my life to Christ and the Spirit of God began to move in my
00:15life and I got hungry for spiritual things, no longer did my grandparents or parents have
00:19to coerce or force me to go to church.
00:21I began to do so willingly and I began to read the Bible seven days a week.
00:25My grandma began to wonder what was wrong with me.
00:28My mom asked me, are you gay?
00:29How come you're not dating anybody?
00:32So sometimes people, they look at you and try to understand you and as you go through
00:39transformation and change and a metamorphosis, a lot of times they don't understand how to
00:43relate to you, but that's okay.
00:45And then there's another group of people that are manipulative and they're always trying
00:48to coerce you to do what's best for them and in their own interest.
00:53And navigating through the nuances of life and the various people and the personalities
00:57and the sometimes crazy people that pop up in your life and have demons and darkness
01:02and other types of addictions and afflictions and tricks that are trying to mislead and
01:08misguide you, that takes a lot of discernment.
01:10So being spiritually led and governed and guided in understanding who you are as a person,
01:16what you're trying to accomplish, what you're trying to do, what you're born for, what you're
01:18made for, what your purpose and calling is, will help you be rooted and grounded in faith
01:24and truth and have a strong and a firm foundation that will impart stability and tranquility
01:29and you can say no, therefore, without feeling guilty.
01:33And again, the more you have a strong relationship with yourself and you love yourself, you know
01:37who you are in God's image and you're made in His likeness and you're content therein
01:41and you don't have to fake the funk and try to be like anybody else, you're comfortable
01:45in your own skin, you're happy to be yourself, then when other people try to mold and make
01:50you in their image and try to get you to conform to their dictates and their whims and their
01:54will and their wishes, you can say no without feeling guilty and keep on trucking and going
01:57forward and do what God's called you to do.
02:01So destiny, purpose, leadership, discernment, decisions, guidance, direction, that's all
02:05vitally important.
02:06As an executive coach, as a life coach, as a global business consultant, I assist people
