00:00Hey, it's people in tag, and do not mess with a mama bear, okay?
00:08Hackstar Hannah Einbinder's mother, Lorraine Newman, won't be saying yes, chef, any time
00:12soon.
00:13She had some biting words for the bear on Sunday after her daughter lost in the supporting
00:17actress category at the Emmys, you know, because the hit show was controversially nominated
00:21as a comedy.
00:22The award ultimately went to Liza Colon-Diaz, her first ever win, which was so well-deserved.
00:28She gave an inspiring acceptance speech to her fellow Latina artists, telling them to
00:32look at her and keep believing, and Lorraine ended up deleting her tweet.
00:36It's all so silly, because Hats won a bunch too, including outstanding comedy series,
00:40so everyone took home a prize.
00:44Sofia Vergara might not have gotten her hands on an Emmy this year for her performance in
00:47Griselda, but she did get a hamburger, and from the looks of it, she enjoyed it just
00:52as much.
00:53We love a girl who's all about her next meal.
00:55I mean, look at her pre-Emmy spread, too!
00:58That looks so yum!
01:00You're already a winner in our hearts, girl.
01:02You deserve it.
01:03I think we were all kind of taken aback over the weekend when Prince Harry got 40th birthday
01:08wishes from both his dad and his brother, but there's another piece to this puzzle.
01:12So they both used this pic, which is from Harry's 2018 visit to Ireland with his wife,
01:17Meghan Markle.
01:18But wait, did King Charles and Prince William crop her out?
01:21You know we had to do some sleuthing, and everyone can actually stand down.
01:25Turns out the photographer released two versions of the photo to Getty Images.
01:29One cropped wider, and one cropped tighter on just Harry.
01:32That's the one they used for his b-day post.
01:35Mystery solved!
01:37Well, it's not all about the Benjamins for Diddy this week.
01:42He was arrested in Manhattan on Monday by Homeland Security, then indicted on sex trafficking,
01:47racketeering, and prostitution-related charges.
01:49He was denied bail and sent straight to jail, but plans to fight.
01:52His lawyer calls the whole thing unjust prosecution.
01:55If you remember, Diddy faced several lawsuits over the last year related to allegations
02:00of sexual abuse, including one from his ex, Cassie.
02:03And then there was that video, which seemingly supported her claims, though that suit got
02:07settled.
02:08On top of that, his homes in LA and Miami were raided by the feds in March, so he's
02:12got a lot going on, legally speaking.
02:16So two TikTokers are facing some serious backlash.
02:19But is it warranted?
02:20I need to know what happened here.
02:22Let's call Alex.
02:23Hey, Mako.
02:24What's up?
02:25Hey, Alex.
02:26Okay, so people are big mad at Matt and Abby.
02:28What did they do?
02:29So Matt and Abby Howard are influencers, and they took their sons, two-year-old Griffin
02:33and one-year-old August, on this family cruise.
02:36But they're drawing criticism after Abby, the mom, posted a story to Instagram saying
02:40she and her husband went to dinner and left the boys back in the stateroom.
02:44Wait, what?
02:45They left them alone?
02:46So that is pretty much how it appeared, based on Abby's Instagram story.
02:50She did say, you know, the baby monitors don't really work on the ship, so our solution is
02:54we're going to dinner after we put the boys to bed, and we're going to monitor them via
02:58FaceTime.
02:59Naturally, the internet had a lot to say about that, said they were irresponsible, neglectful.
03:03I can see the concern.
03:04Okay, so now after all the backlash, they are breaking their silence.
03:07What did they say?
03:08Yes, so they posted this joint TikTok video in which Matt said, actually, we went on this
03:13family cruise with Abby's extended family.
03:16Thank you to the members of Abby's extended family who helped us tag team the childcare.
03:20And of course, while we were at dinner and watching the kids on our phones, a member
03:24of her family was always physically present with the children so that they were always
03:27attended.
03:28Maybe it's just a big misunderstanding.
03:29Well, thanks for the info, girl.
03:30I'll talk to you later.
03:31Anytime.
03:32Talk to you later.
03:33Bye.
03:34Sookie Waterhouse is five months into motherhood with Robert Pattinson, and listen, it takes
03:40a village, right?
03:41But she says she's finding hers somewhere unexpected.
03:44Reddit, when you have kids, it's just in life, read it in life, like read it after everything,
03:50right?
03:51Yeah, that was probably where I'm going to learn everything of how to raise my child
03:53is Reddit.
03:54Now Sookie does admit that she found the transition into motherhood and especially the first two
03:59weeks with their daughter super intense, but these two are such go with the flow vibes.
04:04Something tells us they'll be just fine.
04:08You know, I love a love story and these two total couple goals.
04:12Ina Garten and her husband, Jeffrey, have been married for more than 55 years.
04:16The key is I knew that I was the most important thing in his life and that he was the most
04:21important thing in mine.
04:22Jeffrey wants whatever I want, so it's pretty hard to fight with somebody like that.
04:27That might be how things are now, but once they actually separated and almost got divorced
04:32because Jeffrey quote, expected a wife that would make dinner.
04:34There were certain roles that we played and I, I found them really annoying.
04:39I felt that if I just hit the pause button that I would get his attention.
04:44In the end though, it only made them stronger.
04:46I think we just kind of negotiated a different kind of relationship, which was more of a
04:51partnership.
04:52Dearest Gentle Reader, Bridgerton season four is officially in production and all eyes are
04:58on Benedict played by Luke Thompson.
05:00I'm honored to accept your acceptance.
05:04Violet, second eldest, is finally getting his own love story with Sophie played by Yerin
05:08Han.
05:09We already know they needed a masquerade ball and of course, drama ensues.
05:14Also, Harry Potter fans are in for a treat.
05:16Katie Leung, yes Cho Chang, is joining the cast too.
05:20She plays a mom trying to marry off her daughters who have recently come of age, but here's
05:24where it gets really good.
05:26One of them has her sights set on Benedict too.
05:29Juicy!
05:30Now, Yerin admitted she was nervous stepping into the leading role.
05:33Who wouldn't be?
05:34But Luke made her feel comfortable as soon as they met and all the stress went away.
05:38Looks like we're in for a ton of plot twists.
05:42By now, we know to expect the unexpected from Jason Kelce.
05:45And he's at it again, y'all.
05:47We knew his return to Lincoln Financial Field after retiring was going to be epic, but even
05:51his brother Travis wasn't quite ready for these moves.
05:55Jason showing off some moves.
05:57One move that is actually new to me.
05:59I gotta bring the energy.
06:00I hope you brought it, dude.
06:01I don't even know what I'm doing.
06:02Dude, it's golden.
06:03I can't tell what's funnier, Jason giving everything he's got on stage or Travis crying
06:14laughing at it.
06:15Moments like these make us love them even more.
06:19Now it's the sit down with Uzo Aduba.
06:21Hi Uzo!
06:22Congrats on your new memoir out September 24th.
06:25Walk us through your decision to write one and why is it meaningful to tell your story
06:29right now?
06:30I did not know what was going to be happening in my life, you know, when I said yes to this
06:38book.
06:39The book I was saying yes to was not the book I wrote.
06:42For some reason in this season of my life, when I was approached, I said, yeah, and I
06:46was thinking about it like, oh, this could be fun.
06:48I can, you know, tell these sort of fun stories about my mom and, you know, we can remember
06:56some fun things and, you know, blah, blah, blah, Nigeria and crazy eyes, you know, and
07:03the big piece that wasn't present at the time when I was approached and the book I signed
07:09on to was my mom wasn't sick at the time.
07:12So then when I sat down to write it, she was at that point and that had just totally changed
07:18the shape of the story I imagined I was going to tell.
07:23Yeah.
07:24What do you hope people take away from the book?
07:27What I learned from my mother that I did not expect when I set out on this journey is that
07:36life is filled with so many stories, so many chapters.
07:41So whatever moment story you're living in right now, it is not the final story.
07:48But life is long, you know, it is long and it has many different seasons.
07:54And I learned that unexpectedly in the process of this book, the season I was in when I was
08:01writing this of loss and leaving is not the season that I'm in now, which is life and
08:09receiving.
08:10Is it cathartic to reread passages and relive certain moments now?
08:14It was to revisit.
08:16It is every time, you know, like each time there's a catharsis of a different sort, whether
08:20it's finishing it and she's not with us when I finish it, whether it's reading the draft
08:30before I submit it for the first time, whether it's putting together, you know, the audio
08:35book and realizing that was the first time I was saying any of these words in front of
08:40another person.
08:42This year has also brought you and your husband, Robert, your sweet baby girl Adeba.
08:47If we were to play Roses and Thorns, what are some roses and what are some thorns that
08:51have happened since you've welcomed Adeba into the world?
08:54Roses, I have a daughter.
08:56Thorns, I have not slept.
08:59Okay, between you and Robert, who spoils baby Adeba the most?
09:05One of us has her wrapped around their finger and it's not me.
09:13That's his princess.
09:14You know, her name means, it literally means daughter of the kingdom, which makes her the
09:20daughter of the people, everybody, because she's the first born granddaughter.
09:25And so that's his princess.
09:28You know, we can't let you go without asking about our forever favorite show, Orange is
09:31the New Black.
09:32When's the last time you've talked to any of your co-stars?
09:35Most recently seen was Natasha this summer, person to person, because we're all over the
09:41place now.
09:42Everybody's working so much, but I text with like quite a few of them regularly.
09:48We still have like a group chat, I was texting with Natasha last week, but like that love
09:54is constant.
09:55We're going to put 10 seconds on the clock, promote any one of your projects.
09:58Ready?
09:59Go!
10:00Check out The Road is Good, my book about my mother and I, our stories, our lives, both
10:06of our coming of age stories, and I'm so grateful and proud to be her daughter.
10:11Fouzo, thank you so much for being here today.
10:13Thank you so much.
