22:30Who is it over here who's going to say something about that?
22:33I don't know who it is.
22:40A lot of my, especially my recent time,
22:43I mean it's disappointing,
22:46and I'm very happy,
22:48rather than privileged,
22:49to have a young adult in Japan
22:51and a couple of years here
22:53because I'm here for a long period of time.
22:57There's so many wonderful memories that come
23:00because of her incredible nature.
23:03She was such a diminutive person,
23:06but she always had the heart of a lion.
23:10And one thing I remember was the very first time
23:13when she rode her bicycle
23:15from her house in Ubeach
23:18to her house in Ubeach.
23:20She and Dan came over together,
23:23and she'd never ridden her bicycle before,
23:25and I certainly never had a car.
23:27And I just remember how proud she was,
23:32how her whole being just seemed to radiate
23:35because she had accomplished this great goal
23:37of riding to our house.
23:39And she hadn't quite mastered braking yet,
23:44and so what Kai did when she was ready to stop,
23:47she just kind of like slowed down a little bit
23:50and ran into a bush,
23:52and it sort of just like popped off or fell off.
23:55I just have always admired Kai,
23:59and her spirit is such an incredible inspiration.
24:03She was loved by all of my children,
24:06and I remember all of us.
24:09We'll miss Kai.
24:11We just have to miss her.
24:22I first got to know Kai this spring,
24:33and I used to tell him that beautiful blue bike lane
24:38picture of her in,
24:40and she loved that.
24:42Every time I'd text her,
24:43Dan would always tell me,
24:44Kai, your face just stood up like a white wall.
24:46There's no choice.
24:48Maybe go for a ride.
24:50It was a lesson.
24:52You can't talk.
24:53Even if you're in front of your car,
24:54the text gets all mixed up.
24:56But of course, she did a beautiful thing.
24:59I guess a number of us get that a little.
25:03I know that I gave her a variety of lessons,
25:07and I can't say a lot of lessons
25:09because every time you took her,
25:11she learned something.
25:13You know, she's a leader.
25:16There was consolation and love of people in our lives,
25:24and life in our lives,
25:26and she certainly did that,
25:28and whatever has happened,
25:33you can look at the faces of the people here.
25:36You know, she just loved and enjoyed it.
25:41Yeah.
25:43Speaking of flying,
25:45I don't know if everybody has that in their life.
25:47It's just when you hear that noise,
25:49it's kind of like a voice.
25:52I'm going to sneak home before it's all the same.
26:05Thanks, Ruth.
26:07Thanks, Ruth.
26:09Who's next?
26:11Eric.
