El actor colombiano de la exitosa serie La reina del flow (Netflix) estrena este miércoles telenovela en Univision y graba otra en Miami para Telemundo que verá la luz en octubre. 2024 es sin duda su año. Hablamos con él.

01:07I remember meeting Miguel in rehearsals for the first time,

01:11I had already known him as a producer, he had been my producer in a series,

01:15but we met for the first time as actor to actor in rehearsals,

01:19Miguel had the character as if he had finished recording the first season a week ago,

01:25he had it perfect, intact, so nothing, that gave me even more nerves,

01:31I said, here you have to get in line and stick to Miguel's rhythm,

01:36and get this out as best as possible.

01:39We had a lot of fun, we had a lot of fun,

01:41the whole Disney team was behind this project, Caracol Televisión,

01:45very aware of each rehearsal, very aware of each decision,

01:50the look, the scenes, the character, the setting,

01:58it is a project, as you well know, that was very successful in Colombia,

02:03so it is one of those projects with a sense of the channel,

02:06so this new season they took care of every detail,

02:09it was a huge team behind the camera taking care of every detail,

02:13every thing, every scene, which sometimes fills you with a little nervousness,

02:17but in the end you realize that it is worth it when you work as a team,

02:20and there are so many directives, there are so many directives pending for each detail,

02:26you realize that it is worth it when you see the final result.

02:29Pedro Corral Jr., who is my character, had a very different upbringing from his father's,

02:34he has had the privilege of studying at a great university,

02:38of getting a great position in a very important company,

03:15Pedro Corral Jr. undoubtedly has an absence, an emptiness in his heart,

03:20because he has not seen his father for 20, 23 years,

03:23and that has caused him a resentment towards him,

03:27but during the story they will meet again,

03:31reconciling, rebuilding that father-son relationship,

03:36and during this process it will be very fun,

03:39you will find yourself in very, very funny situations,

03:42not only the characters of these two, with all the cast that surrounds us,

03:46to get to the end that they manage again to accept themselves as father and son,

03:52which so far has not happened in the first two chapters that you saw,

03:56and they have to wait a little bit.

03:58As Miguel says, first he is a great character,

04:01I have always told him, he is more funny than Pedro,

04:03he always arrives with a good attitude, with positivism,

04:08always with a joke to tell, dancing, enjoying,

04:14but what was most difficult for me, apart from the scenes and how funny they are,

04:18was the issue of the voice in Oz, right?

04:20Pedro El Escamoso is a character who is thinking all the time,

04:23that all the time we listen to his thoughts, which seems great to me,

04:27that is, that resource seems fantastic to me,

04:31because he thinks everything opposite to what he says,

04:34everything opposite to what he says, that is, he does not like something,

04:36the thought says, I don't know, this is horrible,

04:39but you ask him what he thought, delicious, I love this,

04:44so that contrast seems great to me,

05:34that part was the one that was most difficult for me,

05:36apart from the pleasure of working with Miguel,

05:38I think the privilege here was to work with him

05:40making his most iconic character,

05:42Pedro Lescamoso,

05:44we know that Miguel has a great career,

05:46but what a pleasure to work with him

05:48when he is playing Pedro,

05:50Pedro is unique,

05:52and I think that without a doubt one of the most important characters

05:54of Miguel's career,

05:56so what I learned is how he handles comedy,

05:58the seriousness that Miguel puts in comedy,

06:03I think that's what makes it very funny,

06:05the times, he has a perfect timing,

06:07the way he faces each scene,

06:11how he works each scene,

06:13how he feels talking to his colleagues,

06:15let's do this, what do you think if we do this,

06:19reminding one as an actor that discipline

06:23teamwork,
