Sara to bare 2028 election plan in last quarter of 2026

Vice President Sara Duterte says that she will say whether she will run in 2028, a presidential election year, in the last quarter of 2026. Duterte, running mate of now President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in the 2022 elections, said in an interview on Sept. 18, 2024 that she would never again team up with the Marcoses. Duterte said she did not want her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, to be stressed over her situation.
