Cowboys FAIL to meet expectations

The Dallas Cowboys lose in embarrassing fashion at home to the New Orleans Saints.

00:00And my gut reaction was, last week, that was almost a nothing against Carolina.

00:08This week, I want to say this is what Dallas does, even though they beat up on bad teams,

00:15when you expect them to do something in the positive sense, they don't, right?

00:20When you have some level of expectation, they're a complete no-show, 7.7 yards per play for

00:25the Saints.

00:31That was, what you just hinted at was my big takeaway, though.

00:34We spent a lot of time all offseason talking about a lot of different scenarios in change

00:39at coordinator, whether it be offensive or defensive.

00:43We mentioned it, but I don't think we spent enough time talking about the positive side

00:49of what could be with the Saints changes and Clint Kubiak and bringing that Shanahan system

00:54and you still have all that talent and you have Shahid and you still have Olave.

00:59You know what trumped it for me?

01:01And I think for most people, we don't trust Eric Carr.

01:04We don't trust Dennis Allen.

01:07And now they're showing the talent that they have with a competent, how bad was Carmichael

01:12then?

01:13I mean, this is just screaming, like he should not have been there as long as he was.

01:19It's unbelievable how long it took them to make that move.

01:22And so Dallas's defense looks so strong that we go and then at home, not so much.

01:27The Saints score in the first six possessions of the game.

01:30It's another one.

01:31Dallas involved in another game that felt like it was over during the first half.

01:37Dallas can can move the football, but man, they got over three in the red zone.
