00:00Almost 2,000 families in Tondo, Manila were evacuated from evacuation centers.

00:07This is what Isaiah Mirafuentes reported.

00:12This neighbor who was evacuated on Saturday from Barangay 105, Aroma Road 10 in Tondo, Manila, is wet from the heavy rain.

00:22Even though their belongings were not saved from the rain.

00:26When the rain gets stronger, we will get up. When it gets weaker, we will lie down again.

00:32Because of the fire and the impact, they cannot be placed inside the evacuation center.

00:40Even though Center Island is on the length of Road 10, the tents were temporarily built.

00:46Even though Erica is a 19-year-old, she is just holding on to the situation because there is nothing else they can do.

00:54This is the second time they have been burned. In 2017, they were the first to be burned.

01:01It's very hard. It's very hard.

01:04Just like what happened to us before, it's the same.

01:16More than 30 families are left on the road.

01:20Some of the modular tents were given to others, but it was still caught in the rain.

01:41And this is one of the covered courts in their evacuation center.

01:53Where it would be more comfortable, there is no electricity.

01:59Maybe there is too much equipment because of the number of evacuees.

02:02They are using electric fans because there are branches where there is no wind because it is very cold at night.

02:12The barangay is doing its best, but they are really lacking in a place where they can take care of the evacuees.

02:19It is very sad because as you can see, their tent is not enough.

02:25It is not enough for their protection in the rain or if there is a flood.

02:30It is really very difficult.

02:32Some of them are not vaccinated because they are sick.

02:37They are like sardines.
