00:00The new Harry Potter series is holding an open casting call for young actors to play Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

00:08HBO confirmed they are looking for children age 9 to 11 from the United Kingdom or Ireland in April 2025.

00:17They are focused on diverse and inclusive casting and applications can only be submitted through their official Cast It website.

00:26JK Rowling even shared the exciting news on her ex account with a brief message.

00:31The series will start filming in the UK between 2025 and 2026, though the release date is not set yet.

00:39Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were cast as the main trio back in August 2000.
