00:00While the Bureau of Internal Revenue, or BIR, builds stronger ties with top business groups

00:04to enhance taxpayer service, BIR Commissioner Romeo Lumagi Jr. is strengthening BIR's relationship

00:12with its multi-sectoral group by signing a new agreement.

00:17This group includes various private sector industries, allowing them to share their concerns

00:22about BIR's policies and regulations.

00:25Commissioner Lumagi said BIR will keep the existing members and welcome the new group.

00:30This shows the partnership is effective and beneficial and will bring more secure tax

00:35system in the country.

00:37The new members consist of three business groups and will join the returning members

00:41of multi-sectoral group, making 12 in total.
