00:00In the world of cinema, there is no limit to imagination and talent.

00:05Despite the challenges, artists continue to create works that give inspiration and joy.

00:12That's why a year-end group art exhibit was held recently. Let's take a look at it.

00:20Creativity knows no boundaries.

00:29Despite the limited resources of some artists, they are still able to create works.

00:35Their talent and love for cinema is what keeps them going.

00:41Rentals are very high, expensive.

00:45So when places like this are provided for exhibition, it gives artists a feeling of importance.

00:54It gives the artists a feeling that they have a safe haven to go to.

00:59At the opening of an art exhibit, new stories and ideas were seen in their artworks

01:05that will definitely inspire art enthusiasts.

01:09Inspire and motivate artists, young and old, to keep coming up with innovative and creative artwork.

01:18This year-end group show was led by former Education Secretary and now Center Director, Leonor Briones.

01:25This is a way of thanking the public for their support for the artists' works.

01:33The art forms included paintings, sculptures, mixed media, and digital art by 21 artists.

01:43My theme is always figurative.

01:46There's always a person involved.

01:49Basically, it's humanity.

01:52Being a human being is always my theme.

01:55I can't complete my life without creating art.

02:00When I was a kid, that was my dream.

02:04Even though my parents didn't allow me to draw or buy artworks.

02:08What I'm doing now are paintings that will make people happy.

02:12Because we're surrounded by sad news.

02:20So when we get home, we need to see a painting that will make us happy

02:24to counteract that sadness.

02:27Paintings are important.

02:33This is one form of spiritual medication.

02:37Each artwork has its own story and meaning

02:40that gives visitors a chance to reflect and reconnect with their own emotions and experiences.

02:48The exhibit is open to the public until January 17, 2025.
