00:00London bus passes, which currently allow pensioners to travel on the TfL network across the city

00:07for free, could be scrapped for some over 65s. The travel cards, which are a lifeline

00:13for many Londoners, are currently available for every person over the age of 65 who lives

00:19in London.

00:20But this could change for some according to a new report in the Telegraph. On Monday September

00:259th, Rail Minister Lord Henley was asked to protect passes and urged to promise not to

00:32limit them in any way.

00:35Transport for London has restricted access to a number of its digital systems following

00:40last week's cyber attack. It said the incident, for which it raised the alert on 2nd September,

00:46has not impacted its transport services and there is no evidence of any customer data

00:52being compromised.

00:55Funds for an incredible £3.1 billion upgraded train line could hit the buffers if the new

01:02government fails to stump up the cash. A TfL spokeswoman said we're continuing to progress

01:08on our plans to upgrade and extend the Bakerloo line, but it's dependent on securing the

01:14necessary funding.

01:16And finally, Heathrow Airport said it set a new monthly record for passenger numbers

01:22with nearly 8 million people passing through its terminals in August. The airport also

01:28saw its busiest day last month with 269,000 passengers on the 18th August. That means

01:37it's on course to serve 30 million passengers between June and September, which would be

01:43the most for that period in the airport's history.
