Edmundo González arrived in Spain on Sunday after fleeing Venezuela on a Spanish army jet following a hotly contested presidential election, which several foreign governments believe he won.

00:11Many gathered outside of the parliament in Madrid to support the proposal that was put

00:44The opposition leader, who says he won the July 28 election, stood against Venezuelan

00:50President Nicolas Maduro, who also claimed victory.

00:54Following an arrest warrant, Gonzalez fled into exile after being granted asylum by Spain.
