Venezuelan opposition leader Edmundo González is mobilizing regional backing, asserting he won July’s election over President Nicolás Maduro.

00:10Days before Venezuela's presidential inauguration, González held meetings in the Dominican Republic,

00:15having already made stops in Panama, Argentina and Uruguay.

00:19He presented Panamanian President José Raúl Molino with a photo of electoral documents

00:24that the opposition say are evidence disproving Maduro's claim to victory.

00:28On Thursday, González will meet also with the Dominican President Luis Abinader.
