01:05And here we can see Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is noticeably higher resolution throughout the scene,
01:10including the trees and procedural cars.
01:15So overall, some remarkable improvement to the games.
01:18On PS5 Pro, we can see increased sharpness to the graphics
01:21or smoother and more responsive gameplay.
01:24This is the big three showing their value.
01:27As you've been seeing, machine learning via the PSSR library
01:31is being used quite broadly to add pixel detail and boost frame rate.
01:36But there are as many approaches as there are game engines.
01:39The increase in raw GPU power is being especially effective for Horizon Forbidden West.
01:45Apart from the detail boost, that extra graphics power
01:48is allowing for improvements to lighting and visual effects,
01:55as well as to the hair and the skin in cinematics.
02:05Ray tracing is finding broad usage as well.
02:07Particularly when the games are focused on higher frame rates,
02:10the faster hardware in PS5 Pro can make a real difference,
02:15allowing Gran Turismo 7 to add ray traced reflections between the cars in gameplay,

02:25That boost in ray tracing is also delivering big wins for Hogwarts Legacy,
02:30allowing not only for better reflections and a greater variety of reflective surfaces,
02:35but also for further realism in the casting of shadows.
