US and UK top diplomats Antony Blinken and David Lammy to make joint trip to Ukraine as it battles Putin war

The trip by the US Secretary of State and British Foreign Secretary is a show of solidarity to Kyiv against the Russian invasion.America’s top diplomat was holding talks with Sir Keir Starmer and Mr Lammy over the Ukraine and Middle East wars.The discussions in London were being billed as on a strategic level, rather than responding to particular incidents.They come as Britain has been pushing allies to allow Ukraine to use long-range weapons supplied by the West to strike deep inside Russia.Putin’s military has been using “glide bombs” launched far behind frontlines to attack towns and cities in Ukraine with devastating impact.

01:09with the conflict in the Middle East, whether it's dealing with the challenge posed by China,

01:14and so many transnational issues that have no respect for borders and that have a profound

01:21impact on the lives of people around the world.
