00:16But what happens if Wilson's healthy for next week?

00:19Mike wasn't really getting into a lot of that, but he said Fields played well.

00:22Really appreciative of his efforts and his play, certainly.

00:26What happened in pregame?

00:27Can you take us through that decision-making process?

00:30Was Russ even a consideration?

00:32It's really not a long, drawn-out process.

00:35I'd rather deal with short-term misery, to be quite honest with you.

00:40There's a lot of ball out in front of us.

00:42I just thought it was appropriate to put the healthy guys on the field.

00:44I felt really good about both quarterbacks.

00:46I was very clear to you guys when I named Russ the starter how comfortable I was with both quarterbacks.

00:52And so if that is true, why not be really comfortable with playing Justin under the circumstances

00:57with Russ being in less than ideal physical shape?

01:00And so that was a thought process.

01:01It wasn't a lot of discussion.

01:03Russ was very supportive of the day, and that was appreciated.

01:05But we went with Justin.

01:06Man, I'm glad we got two real capable quarterbacks, as I've mentioned before.

01:11Listen, you have to play who is healthy.

01:14The one that is healthy is the guy that goes.

01:16They have both of them.

01:17One guy's an angle breaker.

01:19The other guy is steady as she goes.

01:22I guess, like I won't deny, I think Russell Wilson throws the ball better than Justin Fields.

01:30But Justin Fields can make plays that Russ Wilson just simply cannot nor will he ever make.

01:37One guy is strictly a pocket passer, and the other, he cannot run anymore, Russell Wilson.

01:44Who are you kidding?

01:45And then Justin Fields can do both.

01:49One of them he does poorly, but the other one he does great.

01:52He runs the ball.

01:53He's dangerous.

01:54I mean, I think he's the most dangerous.
