00:39Qasim, how do you describe it? Look Qasim is a must-see to believe when we've been building this over the past call it five years
00:45It's always one of these things where you tell people what it's about and then they come and they're like I had no idea
00:51How amazing this was it leverages the best technology in the world with the fan experience and that energy you get in the room
00:58And we do it in a live format
01:00so we are building these large experiential venues that take you courtside pitch side front row, you name it best seats in the house and
01:08Leveled up with hospitality as well. So it is an unbelievable fan experience for those people that just are having a hard time
01:14Visualizing it. How do you describe that experience what it looks like and feels like well
01:20So go to our socials by the way and check this thing out. That's where I found people go
01:24It's really hard to believe we have a multi camera set up at these stadiums at events like Arthur Ashe for the US Open by
01:29The way where we're putting you baseline and it is like you're sitting in the front row
01:33Ultra high resolution. So our dome is 12k. We produce content in 8k and 10 and a half K as well
01:39so when you think about
01:41Resolution standards and production elements. It's really incredible and when fans come it is that that seat you can't get
01:48It's that courtside seat, right? It's never gonna replace being at the venue right going to a stadium
01:53I was at Arrowhead last night. I mean that experience that energy the crowd you can't replace
01:59It's electric. Yeah, right our job at Cosm is to try to get you close to that, right?
02:04We'll never beat it
02:05But we want to give you that
02:07Close to experience for fans that can't get to those biggest and best moments that can't have that all the time and that's our effort
02:13It says shared reality on the website. What is shared reality?
02:17So sure. Yeah, we know VR all these also AR VR XR MR
02:21Who knows what the R is gonna be?
02:23What we're betting on is that in five to ten years the world be more immersive more digital more connected, right?
02:28My dog might my you know, my watch beeps at me and my phone's going off
02:31What's gonna be in five to ten years?
02:32So what we do is we leverage the best of the immersive tech stack out there, right all the R's
02:37But we combine that with the experience economy
02:40Like the reason this interview is way better in person than over zoom, right? That is shared reality, right?
02:45It's the shared element the connectivity of the fandom while leveraging the amazing tech that's out there and giving it just a new format
02:51For fans to lean in and have fun and experience something new. How similar is it to the experience?
02:58At let's just talk about the planetarium
03:01I went to as a kid and watched the laser Zeppelin show or how similar is it to the sphere?
03:06I love that question. So we are also the largest planetarium company in the world
03:11So we power nearly 800 planetariums globally with our software building the domes
03:16Science and education is a key pillar to our business and will always be
03:20And so there's very similar to that
03:23The legacy planetariums are all projection based right and they're all over your head and you're kneeling backs
03:28You look at the stars. We leverage a lot of that same core tech and now apply it to live sports entertainment
03:33Now it's all LED
03:34We've advanced it quite a bit and we add the live production element and it comes all the way to the floor
03:38So you are immersed in it. You asked about the sphere and we have the same thesis, right?
03:43We want to leverage amazing technology and give fans something that will blow their mind every time
03:48We do it a little bit differently. We focus on live sports
03:51multi-site really broad international scale
03:55I've been in the sphere and it's incredible by the way
03:57So same macro trends here that we like but different tech, you know different offering what sports do you currently air at?
04:05Cosmic I think you name it. We do it. Alright, so UFC all the live big pay-per-views English Premier League
04:12That's amazing. We can take you to Old Trafford. We can take you to the Emirates
04:16We can take you to all the biggest best places and it is just jammed college football
04:20I think we have the best college football slate in the world. We just announced a deal with Fox this weekend
04:24We have Michigan, Texas. We have Colorado, Nebraska. I think go buffs go go
04:29I'm trying to get my tar heels in there to be sure
04:32Wait till basketball season u.s. Open we just had u.s
04:35Open live from Arthur Ashe right about the NFL the biggest and best of them all look
04:39I mean the NFL what a brand I mean amazing. I think they had 93 of the top hundred broadcasts last year
04:44It's um, I'd love to work with them right as a former player
04:47It's something that I mean I get geeked up with Aaron Arrowhead last night
04:51And so we're working on unique opportunities there and we'll see where it goes
04:54What prevents you from running you need an agreement with the league? Yeah, you shoot with your own cameras at these events
05:01So we have a new format, right? This is not we're not taking your regular TV feeds, right?
05:06We have a team out there producing it cause of media our production org. We're traveling the world
05:10We have teams across the world producing these events and so
05:13Working with the leagues and working with all the broadcasters, right?
05:16You have to go in and you got to respect the industry and all the stakeholders and we're net new
05:21We're not cannibalistic to any of this stuff right now
05:23And so that's why you've seen us work with all the leagues and broadcasters already, right?
05:28And so now we're working on those opportunities for the the next portfolio. That was my question. Are you cannibalistic because
05:35Does the NFL do sports fear that you might pull people away from the stadium experience?
05:41Well, look, I think as you think about this right every league every team half of their inventory is on the road
05:49Right when you get that realization imagine if you're a business owner and half of your core product is gone
05:54Right and you've got a massive asset in the stadium that's not being monetized
05:58How do you think about driving that footfall?
06:00Activation and all the things around that and our effort is to come in and help
06:04Drive more activation these fans want to come celebrate the watch parties you see on TV all the time, right?
06:10We're trying to build these spaces so that fans it's an approachable point, right? They can come watch away games
06:16We can co-program when their home games and and we are trying not to pull from the existing crowd
06:20We're trying to bring more people to those districts more people to the fan
06:25Experience and the brands they know and love what's your pitch to the commissioner Roger Goodell?
06:30You I mean, I'm not gonna bring that up right now with you. Come on. That's a
06:34Private conversation. Okay, that's a private conversation. I presume look
06:40The sports entertainment ecosystem, it's a it's a tight industry
06:44And we're working hard to try to get the fans what they want beyond sports
06:49Cirque de Soleil what else Cirque is incredible you come to Cosmo watch? Oh, it is amazing
06:55And that's been a huge fan favorite. We also have a Cosmo Studios slate

07:00Where we're bringing immersive artists these new age these new media artists coming in
07:05We had Nancy Baker Cahill come in with an amazing piece called seek and you know putting you inside the art, right?
07:11It's really bringing in this new format
07:14Leveraging a lot of the best of breed tech that we have and help support and so there's a ton of program
07:18We also have some entertainment titles coming out. So imagine remaking some of your favorite studio titles, right?
07:23What would go well on something like this? We're about to announce a few
07:27You think about things like Halloween horror nights and the holiday specials and some of the holiday movies we can
07:32World build around it right think about watch parties for some of the favorite episodic stuff out there
07:37That is the big bad dynamic scenes. I was thinking James Cameron, you know, there's some cool stuff out there
07:43There's some I want to see Pandora on that
07:48Put you inside the world. I mean, that's the transport of nature of what Cosmo is
07:52So, I mean that that's what we want to transport you to these places, right?
07:55Take you into the stories take you to those stadiums
07:58I want all the fans to experience that noise at Arrowhead even if you're sitting in LA or you're sitting in Texas, right?
08:04It's that energy pricing. How does it work? Look we try to price approachably. I want fans be able to come back
08:09I don't want it to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. That's not what we're after, right?
08:13We want it to be available for the every fan now
08:15We price based on scarcity much like you'll see at any live event complex out there
08:20Our average ticket price is around 33 bucks. That's a cross product type
08:25We have but the range is the range goes up to a few hundred and all the way down to $10 to get in
08:30Okay, right
08:30So we built our own app or own ecosystem so that we can price accordingly and make sure we're still approachable and there is a product
08:37Type for the entire fan scope, right?
08:40There are gonna be VIP tickets that are pricey as as in any venue or right
08:44But there's also GA and standing room and all these other elements so we can try to get as many fans
08:49Exposed to the medium as possible. You're going to the u.s. Open this weekend
08:53So am I and no one does F&B better than the open food and beverage. I mean, honey, you got
08:58so
09:01I will say if you're watching us open at a cosm we have honey deuces
09:04So that's the key we want to do we want to bring all those elements right to life around the world
09:11So when it's a honey deuce, right or when it's a mint julep for the events, whatever that is
09:15And so hospitality is key to us. We have a really elevated elevated. Yeah. Yeah, we our technology will wow you 100%
09:22Our hospitality is what wins at the end of the day and we need to rely on our team to deliver what we say a
09:28Cosm worthy standard
09:29I mean, that's our team mantra internally deliver that every day to the fan to give that fan experience as best we can
09:35Where are you? Where are you headed?
09:38Where am I Wow, we've opened two venues right LA LA in Dallas. We love these venues. They're both open and running check them out
09:46We've announced Atlanta. So we're coming to Atlanta very soon as well Centennial Yards project downtown, Atlanta
09:51It is gonna be a show show stopper right the entertainment district and we have about three or four. We're about to announce soon
09:58We have a lot of cities that you probably know
10:00Well that are vying for us to come there and we have a few international sites that I like a lot
10:05and so we're about to start announcing all those as we come online, but you're gonna see more and more cosmos around the world and
10:11You know, we're trying to democratize access here
10:14The beauty is each venue is part of our network
10:16If you think about it that way we run each venue like a TV channel
10:20Live sports is that anchor and then you have all the shoulder programming right throughout and so that's how we think about it
10:26And so now we have a central command that then broadcasts everything out and manage it from HQ and we can produce
10:33All the events nationally globally or even locally as we give fans in those demos that experience. Is this the sports bar of?

10:43You know, I don't want to be a sports bar. I don't want to be a theater
10:47We're not a venue. We're just causal and I hope that you know, that's how we define if we make it or not
10:52We're like it's just causal right? You can't there is not a category for it right now
10:56Yes, we have live sports, but we also have Cirque we have art we have all these things
11:01And we feel it is a net new entrant
11:03Yeah, right to the called entertainment ecosystem
11:06And I just want to be in your top five consideration set when you're going out on a Friday night
11:10You're gonna have a few choices, you know, it's a it's just go cause them like I don't care what they have
