00:00The gold AI language model is unique in that it's going to be the world's first proprietary model that includes
00:07medal-winning secrets from Olympic athletes. Now typically, and we have this problem with the military,
00:12these secrets are well protected because they tend to be competitive advantage.
00:16So we will de-identify, you know, sports-specific things or names of coaches or names of athletes
00:22and make this available to everyone.
00:30My name is Sky Christofferson. I'm founder of Gold AI.
00:33So Gold AI is founded by Olympic athletes, and our goal is to bridge the gap between this incredible wisdom
00:41and top-level advice that we received as Olympic athletes around health and fitness
00:46and delivering that to the general public.
00:48Gold AI is leading with an app using artificial intelligence, and we do that in a couple different ways.
00:54One is to optimize your daily schedule. So the time you work out builds your meals and your meal timing,
01:03and then we also optimize your sleep.
01:05A lot of the past attempts at tracking fitness and health data have been reflective.
01:10So you get the sensor data, you use the app, and it shows you what you did in the past until now.
01:16What we're focusing on are actionable items on an hour-to-hour basis that create your daily schedule
01:23because the rubber meeting the road, we believe, is really where there's been a gap
01:28and an opportunity now in this consumer fitness market.
01:32For example, if you say, should I eat breakfast this morning or not?
01:37And the typical wisdom, we've A-B tested between OpenAI's general knowledge model,
01:44and it would say, you know, if you're trying to lose weight, skip breakfast, because that's a good way to reduce calories.
01:49The gold model is different because we have data from sensors.
01:52We know cortisol is high in the morning.
01:54We know that's a risky time to be skipping breakfast because you can lose muscle mass,
01:58which makes it harder to lose weight.
02:00And our language model actually answered, you should eat a high-protein, slow-burning breakfast this morning,
02:07and if you want to cut your calories, cut those towards the end of the day.
02:11So already we saw a difference in the advice between sort of the consensus world language model
02:18and then our gold AI sort of Olympic medal-winning specific advice.
02:24So it's exciting.
02:33And we started actually with a focus on helping athletes win Olympic medals at the London Olympic Games.
02:39This was when Lance Armstrong and these guys were banned for drugs,
02:42and the focus went onto the women's team, which was very underfunded,
02:46and we had to quickly find a way to empower them to win medals without taking drugs.
02:52So that became the gold AI project, and we used a lot of sensor data,
02:58everything from sleep to blood glucose, and then looked for patterns in that
03:02and ways to intervene and improve their performance.
03:05So the app, it has a philosophy of always being free.
03:08So it's a free download.
03:09We want to help as many people as possible to optimize their day.
03:14There's a lot of old mythology and a lot of confusion around optimal planning of your day for the best fitness results.
03:23Everything from high school athletes to collegiate to just people wanting to lose weight, right?
03:29What are the ways to most effectively achieve those goals?
03:33And we want to make the download free for everyone.
03:36And then there's AI coaching that they can upgrade to,
03:40and then some of the conversations and knowledge we will be developing
03:44as we continue researching and talking and working with athletes
03:48that will get ingested into our AI language model to be interactive with people in the app through chat.
03:58So we acknowledge that the AI is early.
04:01We will kind of tell people, hey, just kind of hang with us.
04:05This is being developed every week.
04:07In the meantime, you can get live coaching from Olympic athletes.
04:11And they'll work with you.
04:12Zoom calls, you know, one hour.
04:14And that's a way to more deeply integrate the free advice from the Gold app into your daily life for better results.
